We slept in after late arrival from long flight from the UK. The kitchen staff kept the breakfast bar open for us. Excellent! Top marks to the reception and dining room staff. Great to see happy people at their work.

The hotel has a good location close to the lake. The rooms are big and comfortable and the breakfast spread also had chinese cuisine besides the usual eggs, cold cuts and hash browns. The only drawback were the elevators which kept conking off. In the two nights we stayed there one or the other was not working and once both...

The room is small and not so sound proof. Would like a small plunger in room. The bed was comfortable. The location is excellent, close to the lake and Eat street, and Government gardens. Lots of coach tours stay here.

Hotel does not power adaptors to lend you. Bring your own or as the reception said, buy from the nearby pharmacy which closes at 9pm. We tried to borrow one past 9pm so we had to conserve cellphone batteries next day since our powerbank is also low on battery. Hotel's location is a 10 minutes walk to a convenience store....

Stayed alone in a deluxe room , when I visited Rotoroa on a business trip. Place is good and very near to rotoroa lake. A walk or a jog around the lake to start your day and a nice little coffee from the in house restaurant. Yu have free access to Gym and pool, though I didn't use them. Walkable...

My family and I stayed here for two nights in November of 2016. The price was good and it was within walking distance of many good restaurants and attractions in downtown Rotorua. The beds were a bit firm for my taste. Also, this is a big hotel for foreign tour groups to stay at. Our second night a very large...

Nothing spectacular, but it did the job. Room is slightly cramped with 2 beds, good shower pressure, wifi was awful on the ibis network but usable on the Novotel network. Nice to be able to access the spa at Novotel. Breakfast was average, but it is close to Eat Streat so you can have your own choice.

Ibis brand is is a little like McDonald's. The quality of the facilities is very consistent. These are quality facilities but do not have the same as the higher priced brands in the Accor chain as you expect. The restaurant serves breakfast but on the day we dined the food was only Luke warm. The rooms were typical and there...
