You have to take the Regent of Rotorua with a smile. The intentions are all there; very glam (can I say Gay Glam?) and fun. As other reviewers have noted, everything was clean, bright and functional. The pool facilities were good although some work could be done to brighten the thermal bath area and the Gym (which seemed to be...

This boutique hotel is everything it promises my only regret is it was a one night stay. The hosts are perfect, staff all friendly can't do enough for you. There is also an amazing restuarant onsite. Loved it! :)

Great location but sadly we were only there for about 40 hours. Our internet was fine and strong enough for four devices. The hotel has its own naturally heated pool and a thermal bath (beware - it is HOT). As Alana says, decor is somewhat Mondrian but there is nothing wrong with that. Everything was clean and bright, aided by...

This place is stunning. Great location just a minute away from the lake and Eat Streat which has some great options for lunch, dinner and drinks. The room and common areas have lovely decor which make me think of the Mondrian, huge bathrooms with a wonderful shower I could spend all day in. Great service and a swimming pool which...

My wife and thee children stayed at the Regent recently and had the best experience. From the outset the staff were friendly and helpful and seemed so genuine. The accommodation is excellent and nothing is a problem for the staff. The food and service is also excellent. The rooms are very clean and stylish. Everything appeared to be catered for....

You notice that customer relation and customer Service is important to the owners! We just entered the Hotel and just felt so welcomed at that place! Even with a small child of 11 month!! The Baby cot was already settled (which is not normal I can tell you ...) - they remembered our Name directly without looking at the Reservation...

Initially booked for two nights and ended staying four nights. Why move on? This establishment has it all. Professional in every way - staff were warm and welcoming, assisted in any way possible over the entire duration of our stay. Rooms were delightful and oh so comfortable - we needed for nothing. Dining room choices and food preparation and presentation...

This place is unique to Rotorua. It's beauty and the owner's dedication to their guests make it a "not to be missed" for us. We had a wonderful dinner but most important to us was how Darryn was able to make sure our weather delayed trip to White Island got rescheduled the next day.

Love it! Looks like Regent of Rotorua just blew everyone else out of the water with a very fresh concept, very well-executed. On a wet weekend, with everything else looking a bit dismal, we were delighted to be welcomed into the warmth & designer style of Regents, and to have all our needs met with care. I had made a...
