Really enjoyed our stay here. We just came from a small hotel in Auckland who's owners were continually checking on us as we came and went. Not so here, Kevin the host was very helpful but not in our face and we had plenty of space to do as we pleased. Very close to down town but not right in...

I cannot rate this property highly enough. I have spent about 8 weeks staying here this year on business. I started off at other accommodation which was tired, noisy and impersonal. Accordingly, I looked around for somewhere else to stay and was delighted to find this bed and breakfast. It is centrally located overlooking a stream reserve and near by...

We stayed here for the Taranaki Garden Festival. Wonderful standard and definately a 'boutique property'. Intimate with only 4 rooms. We chose the studio at the back of the property overlooking the native bush. What set this property apart was the communal lounge/library area with a wonderful choice of books which we really appreciated, also the wonderful friendliness and fun...

Stayed here on our RWC trip, origionally booked for 1 night but stayed 3. This is the best and host Kevin is superb. The rooms are immaculate and the breakfast is great, all guests mix in. I cannot speak too highly of this accomodation.

We stayed at Issey Manor overnight as a special get away! Our host Kevin was from the onset warm welcoming & witty & we enjoyed his unobtrusive company immensely. We stayed in the Terrace Suite to the rear of the building & it was an absolute delight. Beautifully appointed & the terrace offered a peaceful space to sit outside whilst...

We had two stays at Issey Manor last year and I can wholeheartedly recommend it. It is conveniently located close to the city centre but overlooks bushland in a leafy area. Off street parking is available and it is a pleasant walk alongside parkland into the city where there are several restaurants to choose from. Kevin is very knowledgeable and...

This was the best B&B we stayed in during our 3 week trip to New Zealand. It was home away from home. The location was great, the rooms extremely comfortable and Kevin, the owner, could not have been more helpful. If you are planning a visit to New Plymouth stay here - you won't regret it.
