There was nothing wrong with the motel but it just didn't live up to what we expected (and what we have been becoming accustomed to in our NZ holiday). The room was fine, but the bed was a little too soft for our liking. Reception staff were great.

Its a Nice hotel but really needs to be updated .the staff is more than friendly so overall a good place to stay. Take a room as far from the front because the traffic keeps you awake. Ask for a room with view on the mountain. The restaurant is very good ,try the steak Diana.

When I called to book, the person I spoke to was very helpful. She allowed the four of us (2 adults and 2 kids) to stay in a room that had a King Bed and just charged us extra for the additional bed (for me). Parking was no problem - there was space for probably 30-40 cars. The entire hotel's... More

We took the opportunity for an overnight stay away from home and chose the Quality Hotel for its affordability, location and heated outdoor pool. The pool was definitely a highlight. Our tip is to pick a standard room like we did - views over the pool to the north and less traffic noise than in the fancier rooms overlooking the... More

On reaching room on 4th floor, found large fan operating in bathroom, obviously drying out the area. Manhole in the wardrobe cupboard removed to assist with process. Obviously a major event as the wallpaper was peeling off the wall in the bed area which backed onto the bathroom. Staff could not offer any explanation when asked. Kingsize bed was almost... More

I stayed in the Plymouth suite and was very comfortable. Great king size bed and nice size bath perfect for a romantic getaway!! Not far from supermarkets but is a little distance from restaurants and the CBD.

The rooms were damp and in smelt of mildew. The wall paper was tatty. The hotel is located on a busy road and was noisy. The plumbing woke us throughout the night. The food needs updating, to be clearer and more modern. The bar and restaurant lacked atmosphere.

I always stay here as thecrooms sre pretty good and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Good that they have a good restaurant which saves you going out in wintery weather. The menu is quite good and the foods always great. Nice bar too to have a pre dinner drink.

After a very long drive decided on the 4 star hotel to spoil ourselves. Booked on line & thought out all ourXmas' had come at once when we were upgraded. After finally entering our room we complained as we. Asked for a quiet room & were literally on the road. We rang & after an apology were offered another room.... More

Even though we live in new plymouth we thought it would be a fun idea to experience the plymouth hotel for a weekend stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Lots if smiles. The meal in the restsurant was amazing. Best me & my partner have ever had in a restaurant. The room was warm & inviting. We loved... More
