So peaceful and relaxing here, close enough to Taupo to not miss out on the action but far enough away that you can relax without any crowds. Amazing sunsets! Kayaks and row boats to use along with life jackets

A lovely place to stay - unpretentious and cosy. We have stayed here before and will return again hopefully. Welcoming hostess, perfectly positioned cottage right on the shores of the lake with all you need inside for a long week-end away. Close to trout fishing...More

So close to the lake, beautiful view, extremely clean and comfortable, Sue is so friendly and helpful.5 minutes out of town, it is peaceful and right by the river. A Kiwi treasure. We will be back again and again.

Hi Robin, thanks for your enquiry. Anytime's a good time to stay at Waitahanui Lodge! Jan, Feb and March are all good months here during summer. You could all be accommodated in Rooms 3, 4 and 5 which are available together in early February.
