Have stayed here on many occassions and always enjoy myself. Service is always great and just love the facilities available to you. Plenty of spas to choose from and its just great to unwind and soak it up after a long day. There are plenty of room options available to you to satisfy almost every customer. It is out of...

My husband and I scored a sneaky weekend away without the kids. We stayed at Wairakei Resort in a king room. It was great to get away, everything is within easy reach, the hot mineral pool at night was fantastic and a wonderful full buffet breakfast topped it all off nicely. HIghly recommended for couples and families - you will...

A great place to break your road trip or linger for a few days. Clean, friendly and although décor a little tired the amenities are all you could reasonably desire - hot pool a sanctuary for those tired limbs. Located in the heart of Taupo's attractions. Bed and breakfast package superb value.

Wairakei Resort is value for money resort. it ticks all the boxes. It is great place to stay for families and other type of travellers. You need to go outside the resort for meals as it has restaurant and bars insides. It has heated pools and spa. Highly recommended.

Week-end away with my bestest friend, we had a double room which was located at the back of the resort, SO quiet, no road noise what so ever. The beds were sooo comfortable and a good choice of pillow density's to choose from. We had dinner in the restaurant on the 1st nite as it was a 'mid winter xmas...

Stopped here for the evening and enjoyed a very relaxing sleep. The beds seem unusually comfortable for a hotel, very quiet at night and pleasant staff. Thermally heated pools were fun and different. Very nice father with his daughter was kind enough to point out Southern Cross in the night sky and extend a warm welcome to my family. Good...

After a busy week of business in Auckland, Wairakei Resort is a great place to unwind and recharge the batteries. The Hotel 9 hole golf course offers a very enjoyable round of golf, very well maintained and just a walk across / under the road. Bring your own clubs or you can hire it all from the course. Late lunch...

Had two nights here & at first felt like Fawlty Towers. Sliding door to get into our block wasn't working; there was no sign informing us. The number on our door was inverted so couldn't initially find the room. Then in the room there was a folding bed just left there for us to sort. We got housekeeping to do...

A number of years ago I visited some guests staying at Wairakei when I lived nearby. This was my first time as a paying guest, in some respects I was disappointed, most especially with the bathroom and heating arrangements in the room. The rest of the bedroom (204) was fine regarding décor, TV, tea and coffee facilities. The shower was...
