Unfortunately for us we were only able to stay one night here. We arrived in Wellington after a long day of travel and Tim and Emily left a key for us. When Emily returned she made a point to introduce herself and see if we had any questions. It was Valentine's Day and she gave us a wonderful recommendation for...

We have stayed in lots of B&Bs on our New Zealand trip and we were absolutely delighted with our stay at Acorns. Emily and Tim have made a beautiful place to stay (we had the Kowhai suite) and it couldn't have been better. The room is lovely and has a comfortable big bed, sofa and dining table as well as...

Tim and Emily are great hosts, very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Tim gave us lifts into town and to the airport, thank you so much. The apartment is well equipped, very clean and comfortable, with a kitchenette.Tim and Emily provide a plentiful and delicious breakfast, home made granola and beautifully fresh bread with plenty of other goodies....

We have had 2 nights earlier this week at Acorns Bed and Breakfast in Wellington. Tim and Emily are fabulous hosts, the room is fastidiously clean, comfortable and has everything one would need. Emily's home made treats were delicious and the breakfast provided of fresh fruit, yogurt, home made muesli, bread, eggs and jam more than adequate! We loved being...

We stayed at Acorns for two nights as part of our adventure in NZ. We had a warm welcome from our hosts who told us about the facilities, local dining places and Wellington. The facilities were excellent - we loved the variety of books, the home baked goodies and the breakfast as well as a comfortable bed. When we revisit...

The view through the floor to ceiling windows as we opened the door to our room at Acorns was gorgeous. The deck with table and chairs overlooked the sea just down the hill. We heard lots of unusual birds through the skylights. Our room was lovely and well provisioned. We were greeted with fresh bread, granola, orange juice, milk, and...

My husband and I truly lucked out in being able to spend our last two nights in New Zealand at Acorns. We were in the midst of a bad rental experience and called Acorns up on a whim hoping that perhaps they'd had a cancellation. Emily and Tim were able to offer us a new room, the Annexe, on their...

Gracious hosts, beautiful accommodations, well stocked kitchen, private deck looking out to the bay, made this one of our favorite stays on a month long tour of New Zealand. Our suite was very private, like a small apartment. We stayed two nights. When I told them I was gluten free, gluten free bread and cookies arrived. You couldn't ask for...

It was our first time visiting Wellington & we weren't disappointed in the accommodation we chose! From the first moment we arrived, we were treated like family- even with the smell of fresh baking as you entered the place! Emily & Tim are incredible hosts, personally greeting you as you arrive which I though was a fantastic touch. We stayed...

We spent two nights in the lovely Kowhai suite and it is impossible to imagine any better B&B in Wellington – no wonder it gets such stunning ratings on this site. Emily and Tim were out when we arrived but both, individually, made a point of calling to introduce themselves and ensure everything was all right. Their friendliness and attention...
