A great location but rooms lacking any storage space. The cooking facilities are microwave and kettle only - nothing to even put things in when using microwave. There is no view from most windows - just adjacent skyscrapers.

Nice hotel. Right in the heart of Wellington which is handy. Housekeeping was excellent...no complaints. TV quality of sound was not very good? Other than that...very satisfied. Housekeeping was very good with cleaning the rooms. Also good sound proofing from the traffic.

Good service, clean rooms, comfortable, close to everything. The little Gymnasium was handy and the breakfasts are great. The location is close to all the places that I had to visit. The lifts are exceptionally fast and I never waited more than 30 seconds for a lift.

I appreciate your friendly staff and service. Sometimes a welcome note with some chocolates or a beer is in the room, that's really nice. Minor maintenance stuff can be frustrating at times but overall, I like it.

Our first visit to ND from the USA. Our entire experience was all we had hoped for. The only draw back to Travel Lodge was pay for parking. This is the only hotel we had to pay for parking. Your staff and facilities were awesome.

Stayed here on Saturday night, and couldn't sleep due to the rave in the nightclub below. Not a great idea to stay if you value being asleep at 4am. The music and drunks were so loud it ruined my night. not sure if the hotel owns the nightclub (it's on the ground floor of the hotel building) but you'd think...

We stayed 3 here and arrived from Auckland by plane. Take one of the orange buses into town for just $9 pp. Exit is Lambdon Quai Cable Car. From there it's just a few meters back to Plimmers steps, easy to find when you look out for the bronze statue of a man with a dog. Just take the first...

Not my usual hotel in Wellington, but stayed here due to availability. Well located just off Lambton Quay, the hotel was better than expected. I may have had preconceived ideas as it isn't too visually appealing on the outside, but was clean and fucntional on the inside. The room was perfectly acceptable and the fact you could open the windows...

Well located as all the town centre tourist sites, shopping and restuaramts are very walkable from here (though can be a bit hilly). Car park is a bit tucked away but does lead you direct to hotel reception on 7th floor. Can be noisy lower down but we had room on upper floors with views ourlt to harbour and that...

Close to everything. Go shopping and just drop your shopping off when it gets too heavy. We asked for a view and got the top floor with amazing views. Clean and comfortable. We could have used a mini bar in the room though.
