We had all the hype about Executive suites, views of Wellington etc but instead found very small room (not as big as most motel rooms) lights that went off on one switch so that you had to get out of bed, no view - over the reception area, no air conditioning, very noisy as party in next door house and...

The hotel is a bit further out of town than a lot of hotels in Wellington but not too far away. The staff here are lovely, great service. The room was nice and clean, newly renovated. The only reason this didn't get a 5 star rating was due to the ongoing renovations, couldn't stay in room to work due to...

We stayed two nights in one of the new renovated rooms. Rooms are smallish but quiet, however the aircon doesn't work at the moment. We spent a lot of the night quite hot. The hotel is situated on a large hill, so walking anywhere requires a steep incline back to the hotel. Overall would return and recommend, staff are friendly...

Stayed two nights in one of the renovated rooms. Fit out is good, nice carpet, sheets and bathrooms. Rooms are quiet, but perhaps a bit smaller than expected. The hotel is a short walk in to town, so be prepared for a walk. Overall would return and recommend, staff are friendly and once the renovation is complete should be a...

We came here for dinner after we were unable to secure a table at another Accor hotel we were staying in. We were informed at reception that the restaurant was currently full but that if we waited there (in the lobby)- and read the menu have a drink a space would soon be available. After more than30mins we were eventually...

Newly re-opened after refurbishments, the service here was so personal. The room was lovely and the staff could not have done more for us. The view is (still!) stunning. We are reasonably frequent travellers and can tend to be a little jaded when it comes to hotel rooms but were impressed with our stay here and would definitely choose to...

It's close to the town centre so you don't need to use transport unless going further afield. We weren't very impressed the the restaurant so went into town to eat. I wouldn't stay there again but that is my personal choice. There were no cooking facilities in the room which i probably the norm with Hotels. I like to be...
