I stayed with a friend in a twin room. On initial viewing the room looked fine but there was only one plate and it was dirty, only one set of cutlery and only one chair. We really needed a full length mirror too. The beds themselves were fine, big enough and comfortable. The bathroom let it down the most, very...

Got a great rate at the West Plaza and the staff are great - helpful, friendly and professional. The rooms are fine - well sized, come with standard amenities, not noisy, comfortable bed. The bathrooms could do with a renovation but that's a minor point. And the location is just fantastic. What really let the place down was the state...

This hotel is close to restaurants, shops, wharf and the museum, all walking distance and great to visit. Comfortable rooms, super friendly staff who'll make sure you have a great stay. Great breakfast too. Highly recommended.

Nice big clean well thought out room, good sized bathroom, good location, would definitely consider staying again, would have given 5 stars but parking was very very tight, difficult to manoeuvre into and out of, and I have a small car

Just returned from visiting Wellington with my family, three adult daughters and our elderly parents. We had two rooms which were clean, spacious and very comfortable. We were very happy with the service and the location couldn't be better. Thanks

West Plaza hotel is located in the Wellington CBD and is minutes walk away from some of Wellingtons best cafe's, restaurants and attractions like Te Papa Museum. The rooms are reasonable and the staff friendly. The only downside is the tiny and very difficult car parking situation. My advice if you do stay here and have a car is to...

This hotel gives excellent value for money. The rooms are functional and hotel very clean. The stand out feature is the staff who helped me out with everything from laundry, the gym and a late check out. The location is unbeatable, central to everything you need. I'm glad I finished my trip to New Zealand here.

I Checked in today at around 8pm/9pm and paid for 2 nights and a reserved car park. Left to see some families around the area and came back around 1am to see that our car park spot was taken. Asked the male receptionist and he said he was not informed about a car park spot, so I explained to him...

Thanks, we appreciate your feedback. I was sorry to hear that your original car park was in use, but understand there were several other spaces available that you did not want to use. This is one of the reasons we do not reserve car parking spots at the hotel. The Night Manager did try to explain this to you but...
