I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here for the last few months and if i weren't changing my job I would stay longer. There is a great atmosphere and balance between international students and contractual workers. With the common room downstairs you have the opportunity to socialize or keep to yourself in your room. The staff have been very helpful,...

I've been there for a couple of months and I really enjoyed my permanence. It's rather quite and if you wanna talk with someone (travellers, students, workers...) you can always go to the kitchen/lounge floor and you'll always find somebody there with which chat and have fun. And still, there's an awesome manager, Yong, who will always help you whit...

We were looking for longterm rental - to be honest the online pictures are VERY generous... that actual room shown to us was a long way away from the online picture - very tired rooms for the price. Would be OK for a short time if I was paying $80 but not for long. Time to refresh the rooms and...

I stayed here for just under 3 months - Great location in the centre of Wellington, furnished - everything you need, really quiet, secure, cheap laundry, helpful and friendly staff (Thank you Yang!!). I recommend the Hotel St George to any students or backpackers on WHV's to stay there when in Wellington for longer than a few weeks.

The staff are wonderful, and if you have any problems will sort them out quick and easy. It's right in the centre of the city so everything is on your front door, yet you don't hear a...

Dear Lydia - Thank you for writing us a review and letting others know what a great place the Hotel St George is for guests wanting to live in Wellington. Our TARDIS is a replica from Doctor Who and is the Hotels public call box, you should have opened the door and had a look inside.
