I stayed in this backpackers during one month because there is a really friendly and good atmosphere between guests and Wellington it's a very nice city. Until the last day, it's was good. Kitchen it's OK, but not a lot of cups. WiFi is bad, dorm it's OK, it not smell good in the lounge (because people eat here and... More

Hi we are pleased you enjoyed the friendly and good atmosphere between guests, The hostel has a great vibe. We now have the fastest wi fi in Wellington as we have upgraded and had fibre installed. Guests don't sleep in the lounge, this was an emergency situation and they had no where else to go in Wellington because of a... More

It's a very nice hostel, very clean and free wifi. And cause it's a small hostel, you get very fast in contact. That's really cool. The supermarket is a 7 min walk away and you need 15 minutes to foot to the city center, that's really nice as well.

We made a last minute decision to stay in Wellington and ended up at this hostel. We had two rooms, one for the wife and I and one for the kids. The first thing that struck us when we arrived was the friendliness of the place. It seems that there are a lot of 'long term' travellers staying here predominantly... More

Thankfully only stayed here one night as definitely a party hostel. Loud music at the front until 10pm, people from hostel letting fireworks off in the street before they went out to get even more drunk. Staff had no control over party-goers. Stayed in a 4 bed dorm and found the bathroom was bigger than this room! Was impossible to... More

If you're looking for a bed and a place to rest, worldwide ticks the boxes. The beds are comfy, there are good hot showers, a free basic breakfast and friendly staff. But, the rooms are small, the kitchen is generally a bit of a mess and the 'high speed internet' is not high speed at all, it's actually pretty dire.... More

Family run hostel manned by Wendy who does an awesome job. Sky TV, free wifi, free breakfast, comfy beds. Great place for a chilled vibe and a few beers in the sun on the porch and to meet some sick people! Highly recommend this place if you're staying in welly, I couldn't fault it. Stayed for 2 nights and didn't sleep for 2 nights. During the whole night people are being extremely loud just outside your door (they were really running through the building, bumping into our door etc) and I was lucky to get a bit of rest during the hours they were gone out. Then at 4am you wake up again, cause... More

Good location, close to amenities as well as botanical gardens. Andy and Wendy the owners are caring and genuine people. Wellington is an expensive city and the costs they charge are well priced. Wi-fi is fast enough to organise onward travel and banking etc, but if you need a faster connection, you can use their free desktop computer. Breakfast may... More

I booked my stay in this hostel because of the free WiFi and breakfest. Well, the wifi sometimes works really bad and the breakfest is bread, toasts, table spread, jam and cereals. OK, at leats they offer for free. Good points: *well located, you can go around the city easily, it's just some blocks from Cuba Street and the CBD.... More

If you want to deprive yourself of sleep and basic human requisites this is the place to go! The accommodation was unruly and loud until 1.00am in the morning which made sleeping a charm. My bed sheets had stains which looked like blood (I have photographic evidence) and the plumbing delivered floaties while having a shower. Our twin room was... More
