Stayed here for 1 night for the Homegrown Music Festival. By the time I looked at booking accomodation I didnt have much left to chose from and Im glad I didnt read the reviews beforehand. Right from the moment we walked in our experience was bad. The check in process is painfully slow and backward. We were greeted by a...

We arrived at about 6.30 pm and had to queue at least 20 minutes to check in. we were then told our room (double ensuite) wasn't ready as it had a broken window. It took another hour for staff to nail a piece of plywood over the broken window before we could finally occupy our room. No bedside light, overhead...

I booked in here during the Guns N Roses Concert as it was the only place in the city with beds available, and there is a reason for this. Thankfully I was only there two nights. The building is an old converted hotel and so there are many floors, the kitchen is the 4th floor, laundry 2nd etc. I was...

I reckon it is okay for a few days stay but do not stay here for more than a week in which you will be moved to the second floor with the other long termers. This floor in particular is never cleaned and smells awful and is like the filthiest of filthy uni halls. Forget getting any sleep because certain...

THE GOOD: Good facilities, nice big kitchen/lounge area thats big enough for everyone, the beds are fairly comfy, nice central location, free wifi, cheap weekly rates. THE BAD: Short term rooms on 5th floor are great, long term rooms on 2nd floor are disgusting and stink and theyre never cleaned, currently staying in one where there and two USED condoms...

As if you need any more reasons NOT to stay here read on... • Upon arrival you will be greeted by a rude and usually non English speaking receptionist. • After passing many fine threatening signs you will find your own way to your room. • Do not expect a clean room. Or even a clean bed. • You may...

"Fast speed internet" is a serious joke... It's so often not working (as the lifts) and it's slow as my grandma trying to run... No fridge in the room. Probably not pet friendly. There's absolutely no bar. There's no air conditioning or fans and a lot of windows are broken (can't close them properly and it's pretty cold in winter)....

Like the Jail from the walking dead! Terrible, perhaps the worst I have stayed in a long time. And i have stayed in huts where I had to poo in the ocean and I would even take that over this place. The location is nice but please please dont stay here. The staff if you can call them that dont...

As nice and free the name is, it is a big joke for this non friendly and impersonal jail, where it threatens you to be fined close to for everything, no dish wash says you to be actually shot. I don't mind to be asked to do stuff, but threatening.. Is that your understanding of a hospitality??? I am just...
