This is a hotel with a great, handy location. The rooms are tidy, and the staff is great. It would be an amazing place with a bit more maintenance done. However, all in all, it's a great value for money.

The staff were very friendly and the restaurant next door was fantastic for breakfast, drinks and dinner. It had a great vibe and you could see that the staff enjoyed working there. The Hotel itself was slightly disappointing. The rooms were small and I would have found it hard to stay there with another person in the room. My room... More

Really enjoyed our stay at Trinity. The receptionist was a darling and the housekeepers friendly and helpful. Beds comfy. Room clean and well appointed. Could not ask for anything better. Good value. Prices were not hiked up because of WOW awards, bless them. I'll be back!

My sister and I stayed at this hotel while attending WOW. We found it was situated in a very convenient central location. It was functional and the rooms were clean and tidy, but could do with a little renovation to help it's appeal. The beds were comfortable and a bonus was the electric blanket. The bathroom was compact but very functional... More

First we would like to state the positives. Great bathroom! Clean and modern. The hotel is central to the CBD. That's about it. Our room, # 207, was not up to par. Not even for a budget hotel. The beds were uncomfortable, and the bed spreads looked like they could use a wash. The TV had 6 working channels and... More

Dear BobEleanor Thank you for your review. I will comment on your room # 207 as this is the room you stayed in. We inspected this room & the blinds pull down fully so the light from outside should not have been an issue. The bed linen and bed coverings are not brand new but they are definitely not dirty... We were a party of two couples who stayed here for Wearable Arts. Our rooms was clean and tidy but on closer inspection the shower hinges were filthy and there was multiple maintenance issues such as our shower door didn't close leaving water all over the floor. The bathroom door hit the sink when you tried to close it, and... More

Dear FoxyLozy025 Thank you for taking the time to post your review. I am disappointed to read your review. The maintenance issues have been addressed and our apologies for the inconvenience regarding this. The shower is working perfectly fine now so I am unsure what the issue may have been here. This hotel has cosy rooms and the bathrooms are appealing with spacious and well-fitted showers. The room had a very basic wall-heater which was operating on check-in, so one didn't walk into a freezing room. It was Wellington's cold, windy weather while I was there, so an extra (rather noisy) heater which was in the wardrobe was used. The bed... More

This hotel had great reviews in the first four I read, and it certainly didn't disappoint us. I'm sad to say that having stayed here before this last visit was a bit of a disappointment. The room looked fine on initial impression but small things like very dirty window catches and chipped furniture let it down. Right in the heart of Wellington and walkable to all the points of interest, this is a perfectly fine hotel, well maintained with good facilities, including parking on site. Clean rooms, if somewhat small, but good for a city centre location.
