I booked a room at Booklovers because it was around the corner from where my overseas friends were staying, and it turned out to be a great choice. My flights were messed up because of snow, but Jane was there to greet me at 10pm and showed me how to work the front door combination - which is a great...

We had a nice stay in this cozy B&B! Pros: The location was really convenient and there was a place for us to park our car. All the books were really awesome. The hostess was very helpful with ideas and tips. Cons: There was free wine in a guest refrigerator, but it had been open too long and tasted kind...

"Booklovers" with thousands of books was really a jump into imagination and initiated so many interesting chats with the owner, who's a writer. She is super friendly and will delight you with a 5 star breakfast. Everything is just so tasty! We could move in!! 10 min walk from the city centre and because there are many ways to reach...

We spent just one night in Wellington on our way to the South Island. To our disappointment Jane was off completing her novel and we really wanted to meet her after trading emails and reading the great reviews. The host did a great job showing us around the B&B, giving us local advice and the breakfast was very good. It...

We stayed here one night en route to the South Island, where we spent most of our time in New Zealand. We were welcomed with a very accommodating early check-in (9:30 a.m. for both rooms) and--after drinks and cookies--were directed to Sweet Mother's Kitchen for a great meal. Jane and her staff were so helpful in guiding us from there...

Stayed for four nights and loved everything about this B& B that backs on to Mt Victoria. Sonia welcomed me with a lovely pot of coffee and she was a lovely host that cooked a beautiful breakfast. The house has a relaxed atmosphere and the bedrooms are cosy and warm- with books available to read. I loved Wellington and this...

I have nothing but praise for Booklovers Wellington. Beautiful rooms, lovely staff , centrally located... nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast each morning was brilliant. I can't recommend Booklovers emphatically enough! STAY HERE - and stay for as long as you can!

With the airport bus stopping right outside the door of this b and b convenience becomes the first plus but after that the congenial atmosphere, the profusion of books in every space, the fabulous communal breakfast cooked individually for each guest by Sonia, and the efforts made to help each guest makes this b and b run by Jane Tolerton,...

Booklovers is a quiet, cute B&B up on the hill. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the owners are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, full of fresh fruit and produce. Our upstairs room had great views of the harbour. Great for couples!

We stayed at the booklovers last year and have since wanted to rate it, as our stay was especially nice and relaxing. We had originally only booked for one night, as we travelled in a camper van and did not like the campsites in Wellington and therefore wanted to move on as quick as possible. Once we had arrived weimmediately...
