Second time we have stayed here. This time we were fortunate to have an upgrade to a suite, and the extra space and facilities were very welcome. The washing machine was useful. We have had the best nights sleep here - the bed was excellent. The staff were helpful. We found the hotel to be Clean and modern. Great location...

The place was tidy and nice and clean. We only had a quick stay of one night, so didn't get time to try the food. Staff were friendly and helpful. Quick walk to Lambton Quay, train/bus station, beehive and also the waterfront close by so was a good location for our trip. Elevators weren't the best with shutting very quickly...

The room was fairly small and there was only a small luggage stand to place your suitcase on. The only chair in the room was facing right away from the TV and couldn't be moved so that you could sit on it to watch TV as there was no room. I think this hotel provided that most comfortable bed I...

Great location, just a short walk to good restaurants and where I happened to be working. As a whiskey drinker I was impressed by the wide range available at the bar and the knowledge of the Scottish bartender. I would definitely stay here again.

We paid $319 for a King Deluxe room for a night away in Wellington . When I called and asked about the room - the woman said it was an amazing view. When we arrived the view was terrible - we had a small view of Wellington harbour - but the main view was directly into the back of the...

Really convenient location for the purpose of my trip which was a conference at Victoria University's Pipitea campus. But also convenient to the waterfront, Te Papa Museum and the shopping areas. Piyush was particularly helpful re getting a taxi in the early hours of the morning on the Sunday we left. Thank you!

We were looking for some place close to the train station. This is a block and a half away. Check in was very smooth. The room was nicely appointed. There is even some equipment for light cooking like a couple of burners. Although we are taking the KiwiRail scenic journey tomorrow I can see that this hotel would be great...

Rydges was perfect as a base in Wellington for a day or two. Staff were helpful, rooms were clean and the buffet breakfast was the best I experienced whilst in New Zealand! The hotel does have a corporate feel to it so I wouldn't recommend for couples looking for anywhere romantic, but great for friends, business trips, and families.

We were fortunate to receive an upgrade to a suite for our week long stay at the Rydges. We had a few very windy days - and the all glass wall hotel held up well! We had to call a few different times to have our toiletries / amenities and towel restocked. Loved the free in-room washing machine and dryer...
