Travel a short distance down the unsealed road down the hill and into the holiday park. This stunning setting has beautiful views over the lake. The camping areas are divided with Kanuka which adds to privacy. Ultra clean amenities. Friendly staff. Our dog enjoyed it too. This is a must stay if you are looking for a unique location with...

Very friendly staff and incredible views. As pointed out by other reviewers, the tracks can be a bit hard to negotiate in the dark so it does pay to look around during daylight. A great place just to sit back and relax, the sites are a good size and there are good facilities including a BBQ area.

We camped here in a tent in an un-powered site with our 3 & 5 yr old kids. It was April and the days lovely and warm (nights cold though), we had fabulous views from our site which was the new section site 74 - views straight to the lake. We had no other tents around us. The campsite is...

So this one is a bit different to my normal reviews, I've been coming to the Lake Outlet Holiday park for a little over a year. It's my favourite wind down and relax location. It's at the end of a unsealed road, has amazing views across the lake and depending on the time of the year can be super busy...

We read the reviews and stayed here rather then the one in town which is excellent. Next time we will go back to the one in town. The view of the lake from our powered site was fantastic and that's basically what you pay for. The facilities were the worst on any campsite we stayed on, very small, not the...

We paid $41 for a powered campervan site for two here. Internet and showers are both $2 here in addition. This site has a spectacular view over Lake Wanaka. The location otherwise isn't anything special - you're not close to shops or eateries. The facilities are a bit run-down and not particularly welcoming - I couldn't find a common area/lounge...

Well located and well run campsite. Quiet when we were there in mid March, which was perfect. Camping sites flat with magnificent views over the lake and seclusion from other campers. You felt as if you were out in the bush but with convenient amenities to hand, the best of both worlds. Easy vehicle access. Good clean loos with functioning...

Service was very good. Nice campsite and spacious sites, although very dry with no grass. We booked this place because on the map it looks relatively close, but actually its a bit out of the way and on an unsealed road. The kitchen block was also really really small, way too small considering the size of the camp ground.

Stayed here for 1 night on our travels round the South Island, wish we had time to stay longer. Really friendly welcome, spacious site with a great view of the lake. There is a lovely walk around the lake to Wanaka (pick up the map in reception) and then really easy to jump in a cab back (didn't fancy the...
