Booked small studio and was pleasantly surprised that it was not too small even had small kitchenette . Very clean and tidy . The shower was a bit of a hassel to work out and needs replacing. Was a bit paranoid that there was ajoining rooms to mine and both doors unlocked! Reception friendly and wifi worked well. Good location....

We were as paranoid as you when we discovered the doors had been left unlocked. Our apologies for that. Your comment on the shower has been passed on to the plumber for his appraisal.

Stopped for the night, easy to find. Rooms were clean and comfortable, better towels here than a more expensive place the night before!Motel is convenient to shops and dining options. Didn't hear too much road noise at night. Handy to the river paths or Pollard Park for a walk. Staff welcoming. Good value for money, recommend.

We stayed there as a family on the way down to Christchurch and had a most enjoyable stay. The unit was quiet and neat and the living area was remarkably spacious. The bathroom could perhaps do with a little tlc and the kitchen was rather small, but besides that it was an all round good experience.

We stayed one night in a small studio unit on our way south. We arrived just on 9pm when the office should be closing however the host was still there waiting for us. He was friendly and not pushy as some can be when you arrive late. We found the room very comfortable and not too small at all. The...

This motel is an excellent place for a night or more. We last stayed here several years ago and were impressed that there was evidence of good maintenance and upgrading. The unit was attractive and clean, and well fitted out, The shower was great. The bed was comfortable. All in all it was great value for the cost.

We stayed here travelling north and again travelling south. A truly lovely stay. Staff gave excellent service both times and were wonderful when we called through to say we were late arriving. The rooms were very clean and tidy, the grounds were lovely and the pool maintained. Highly recommend this place to anyone and will stay again.

Arrived in 29C heat and made use of the swimming pool straight away. Very new Maytag washing machine and dryer, $4 each to use. Two bedroom unit, very clean, looked like it had been recently decorated. Nice shower, new furniture and very comfortable bed. Only niggle was that our unit didn't have any outdoor table or chairs, unlike the other...

We stayed 4 nights and found the room very comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and extremely helpful. A well appointed kitchen and large bathroom added to the comfort level. Local stores were a couple of minutes away.
