This place is really spectacular from the eggs for breakfast to the lemons off the tree. Light, airy, clean, quiet, well equiped, comfortable, there are lots and lots of extras. The hosts are so helpful and the ambiance is outstanding with mature trees shading the 4.5 acre site. The animals are a hoot (sheep, chickens and deer). It is just...

A group of ten of us descended upon St Leonard's after we had just completed the 4 day Queen Charlotte Track Walk. As we drove in we realised that our group leader Robyn had go it soooo right. Grass tennis court, walnuts dropping from the trees, warm and welcoming accommodation amongst the wineyards was picture perfect. Michelle and Marcus are...

Our first visit to New Zealand and this place spoiled us for everywhere else. Lovely old buildings in a beautiful setting and such a warm welcome from Michele and Marcus. We stayed in The Old Dairy, a small studio, but so neat, well-planned and pretty. The gardens are a delight and it was great sitting outside the main house with...

We were looking for a place to stay in the Marlborough wine area and found this lovely place right among all the vineyards. It was delightful. Michelle and Marcus met us at the Blenheim airport and brought us back to their cosy home which had 5 acres of land and 5 cottages. So sweet. We stayed on the Shearer's Cottage...

We were just absolutely bowled over with our stay in St. Leonards, Blenheim. The accommodations are so unique! We were very fortunate to stay in the 'Woolshed', which was fun, warm, cosy and loads of space for two couples. We availed of all facilities - hot bath, BBQ , bicycles and feeding the pet sheep!! This was a truly memorable...

Wonderful setting with an outlook across the vineyard to the hills. We stayed in the Cottage and it was clean well served and very comfortable. Hosts very good and nice introduction then subtly keep distance unless you need and then very obliging. Great base to discover the area and masses of vineyards and wineries. A day trip to Havelock and...

We stayed in the Shearers Quarters on St Leonard's. This vineyard no longer produces wines itself, but is surrounded by vines from active wine producers. This gives St Leonard a special vibe and beautiful vistas. The Shearers Quarter is by no means as simple as it sounds. It is a fully equipped self contained cottage with a good bed, proper...

We stayed one night but wished it was two. Our cottage was edged on one side by vineyard, another by the garden and a third by the lemon orchard. It was so tranquil being able to hear the birds, sheep and chickens. Our hosts were so lovely and made us feel welcome. Fed the sheep lemons and watched the deer...

We stayed two nights in "the stables" and really liked it a lot. It meant that we were sleeping where the stables of the horses used to be and that is now a room with kitchen and bathroom. It's very nicely decorated and it's cosy next to the lemon trees and sheep. We could also use two mountainbikes while we...

Excellent accommodation in the grounds of the owners home. We were in The Shearers' Quarters which was a spacious, comfortable, quiet apartment with a well equipped kitchenette and space to eat outside overlooking the vineyards. Breakfast supplies supplied were plentiful including fresh eggs from the property and whatever fresh fruit is ready to pick, mandarins in our case. The garden...
