Location: secure gated parking lot. Easy access in/out. Walking distance to a bunch of fantastic eateries, grocery store, cafes as well as city center.
Second stay here & it's great! Super comfortable beds, $18 parking, ample bathroom supplies, good shower pressure & super hot water, great view over Manchester Street. Surprised to see they took two x $1 credit card payments off me. Note they do airpoints but only if you book with them directly.
The layout with sliding glass doors enabled me to work whilst my daughter was not disturbed, sleeping. The facilities were good and the shower was accessible of anyone with mobility issues. It is also close to pack and save -NZ largest supermarket, so self catering is very easy. We also travelled around using public transport, and the connections were only a couple of flat blocks away making it ideal of those of us who didn't have a car.
I’ve stayed here a few times for work and it ticks all the boxes, large clean rooms, friendly staff and a great location. Everything you need for a week away from home and makes staying away so much easier. The beds are comfortable and although I didn’t use the kitchen and dining area are great for those that want to eat in
Stayed for a couple of nights. Reasonably priced, modern and tidy apartment with all the necessary conveniences. Off street parking is a bonus, in room laundry facilities and short walk to eatery’s and central Christchurch.
Thank you Quest for a great stay. We loved the modern furnishings, the cleanliness, the seamless checking in and out, the quiet rooms, the neat little kitchen, the location. The cleaning service was outstanding. I would definitely be staying here again
Aside from its location - a few minutes walk directly south of the main entertainment precinct, with its external signage clearly visible from the now-fabled Pink Lady rooftop bar (a must on the verge of dusk on a clear night) - Quest on M has a feeling of freshness and spaciousness, not to mention peace and quiet. Though following the familiar format of the Quest chain, the first-floor studio that I was given was easily the best hotel room that I've experienced in a long while (and excellent value for money). Staff here are the kind of folks that you always hope to find in a hotel: friendly, and professional, completely down-to-earth. I found Quest a perfect base in my ongoing, unfortunately sporadic, engagement with a favorite city - and my quest to understand and appreciate more of Christchurch's remarkable re-emergence. I hope to come back again and again.…
Apartment is very spacious and very clean We arrived quite late and has no issues checking in These apartments are brand new and fully self contained Even have a washing machine and dryer Very centrally situated Great value for money
Cant fault this hotel. The location is great, only about 5 minutes walk to the CBD, and about 15 minutes to Hagley Oval (if you’re here for the cricket). Rooms are clean, well furnished and contain all amenities that are needed. Great choice of movies on the VOD system too. Would definitely stay again.
We stayed at the Quest in October 2020 and enjoyed our stay. We stayed in interconnecting rooms. They were of the reliable quest standard. Service was good, although there were some language issues with lobby staff who had limited English.
