Comfortable stay, Circumstances required us to have a room on the bottom level which meant there was no privacy unless curtains were closed but also meant that it was very close to carparking. Also table and chairs outside the room although meant for smokers allowed me to take advantage of the sunshine and eat my lunch outside. Needed to extend stay and staff were very helpful and obliging both for this and for check in and check out process. Great location for our requirements.

We love staying at the Pavillion. Great place and great staff Always. On arrival you’ll settle in and possibly enjoy a drink in Jimmys bar. Rather than drink and drive call for an Uber if going out for dinner.

The room exceeded our expectations, it was large, well appointed and extremely clean. We had a balcony with two chairs and a table, a large spa bath, and a beautiful huge stained glass window. We got free breakfast which was a full buffet breakfast with a good selection of cold and hot food. The reception was welcoming and allowed us to access our room early as it was ready which was great so we could get changed and leave our bags to start exploring the city. The location is perfect - a 1km flat walk to the casino and plenty of amenities in very close proximity

Thank you so much for taking the time to post feedback on your stay. Our rooms are bigger than an average hotel room and it is a great way to start the day here with a fantastic buffet breakfast. Our location is perfect easy walk to town and many local experiences including Hagley Park, the Casino, Victoria Street shopping and many local bars and restaurants. Thank you also for highly recommending us and we look forward to welcoming you back again soon.

Mediocre hotel/motel. Room small with no privacy, once the curtains were open anyone walking past had a full view of the room. Very small kitchen area with few plates etc and only one chair so I ate my breakfast sitting on the bed! There is parking but this place is very busy so you do struggle to park if you get back late. We didn’t use the restaurant so can’t comment on that. It was always busy but as there are so few hotels here (motels mostly) I guess that’s why so many people used it.

Room Tip: An upstairs room may be better. There is a laundry area so useful when travelling.

Sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience with us. The restaurant and bar are very popular with guests and the food is really good, this is why we are often booked out as you would find with any restaurant that serves fantastic food. Sorry you missed the opportunity to experience it. Surprising your room had only 1 chair as they all have at least two chairs - I am unsure what happened on this occasion.

Didn't expect so many amenities in a hotel. Usually stay in motels but this had everything we needed. Small bar fridge, hot plate, tea and coffee facilities. Amenities were excellent. Extra towels, comfy beds. Jimmy bar in the complex was excellent and had a family friendly flavour with things to look at in the little museum inside.

We appreciate your feedback. If you were to stay again you can ask for a room away from this area. We have many different room types and areas of the hotel. We are not aware of any mechanical noises you are referring to so I am not really sure what this is about.

Stayed in a studio this time room 848 I think. Inside just off the main reception area, perfectly nice, had a double and a single bed too which was useful for popping bags etc on. Good shower pressure, everything worked well, check in and check out easy, safe, excellent city location, lots of food and beverage options nearby and an on-site restaurant, free onsite parking. Housekeeping knocking on the door at 9am was a bit annoying, We were last here in Feb and will continue to come back - great location, great stay overall.

As always Pavilions is a great stay… our go to. Had an awesome meal at Jimmy’s,Goid Friday , food was delicious. The young waitress was fantastic… bar guy Jared not so much. Could do with some customer service training… rudeness put a bit of a bummer on an otherwise great night.

We appreciate your feedback and by your comment 'Awesome as always' clearly means you are returning guests and enjoy staying with us. Pavilions is a family owned business as you would be aware, owned by my family. The young waitress was Piper my niece and the barman, Jared is my son. I am sorry you experienced this and I can ensure you it is not a normal situation so I am not sure what went wrong here. We do hope to see you return again soon.
