The internet slow in the room but perfect once i came down stairs. Over all apart from the old snoring man above me it was very comfortable. Id recommend...

It is located near with few attractions and it is just a walking distance to the Hagley Park, Canterbury Museum and Restart Mall. Though it is a lil bit small compared to other YHA, i really enjoy my stay there.

Clean, nice rooms, decent number of showers/toilets, it all worked well. Good and organised staff and a great location in the centre of Christchurch. I'd be more than happy to stay here again next time I'm in town.

Absolutely love hostels like this. The building was aesthetically pleasing which isn't always a good sign. However, upon entering the foyer I was assured otherwise. As per usual with YHA's the reception was first rate. Also consistent was the cleanliness and ease of access to facilities. Located across the street from the "Gardens" I found this to be a plus....

As far a s hostels this is pretty good. Comfortable and clean rooms in a cool historic building. Botanical Gardens across the road, and a stroll to the ruins of Cathedral Church. Relatively quiet area, and fast wi fi .

What a nightmare! If you can't handle the sound of DOORS BANGING every 2 minutes GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. The other YHA is just as bad. The room rattles every time a doors closes in the entire building. If you want a good night sleep this is NOT the place.

This place is conveniently located across the road from the Botanical Gardens and the Canterbury Museum, and close to Cathedral Square and the tram. It is easy to walk to on foot. It is very spacious, and very clean and has a quiet atmosphere. The beds were very comfortable and they gave us each 2 awesome soft pillows. It was...

This hostel is an old house so it has plenty of character and charm. The serive was very friendly and helpful, and the kitchens are big and well equipped. The bathrooms are basic and the beds could do with a little bit of oiling to stop them squeaking so much. The dorm was very well lit with a big window...

The only downside to this hostel is the lack of bathrooms on the first floor, there is only a toilet in fact, but was explained by reception upon arrival , as it's a heritage building they cannot make too many changes. Aside from that everything great. Dorms are big, bunk beds are good, the mattresses are from the Warehouse as...
