This has to be the best Motel within the 4 Avenues of Christchurch. Very handy to the Central Business District. Even though it's on Colombo Street and the place was fully booked the rooms are very quiet. Within easy walking distance of shops, bars and Hagley Park and close enough to Bealey Ave for getting further afield. Reluctant to recommend as we don't want it to be full next time we visit.

Great place, location was close to the City, very clean, comfortable and spacious and the owners were extremely accomodating to our requests. I would highly recommend this business, we stayed twice in three weeks and it was very good.

DISGUSTING rip off! The unit had a terrible odour, old and outdated furnishings for the price charged. Worst part, was when we were leaving and checking that we packed everything we found used condoms under the bed and underwear under the couch. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!

staff was super friendly and the room was very comfortable. We made a request for a room type on booking and although the hotel did not receive it, they helped us coordinate a satisfactory room type immediately upon our arrival.

The motel is in walking distance to the city but far enough away to not be right in the hub. Our room was quietly tucked into the back corner so we slept very well. We asked for more milk for our 3rd day which didn’t arrive but it was a minor slip up. The linen and room was clean and bed comfortable.

Awesome sized room, brilliant amenities in the room and very comfortable beds and pillows. Loved having SKY tv in the room. Great location as there was very easy access to the city. Not far from the Victoria Park Tram stop (Number 17) for those interested in checking out the city by tram (although the route is fairly easy to walk). We stayed one night and the hosts were extremely hospitable and even allowed us to park our car on site on the date of our departure as we had a late flight and wanted to have nosy around the city.

The host was very helpful and warm. The motel is in a superb location (in easy walking distance to the town hall & some delicious nearby restaurants). A simple, but very clean/tidy room with everything you need. Would definitely recommend & a great place to stay with a friend or partner.

We stayed one night and found the accommodation very clean and spacious. The laundry room was useful ( $2 dollars for the wash and $2 for the dryer). Easy walk to the town centre and botanic gardens.

Great motel, on site parking and close enough to walk into Christchurch. Clean and Comfortable ideal for a couple of nights, good shower, and a comfortable bed. I would be more than happy to stay here again. A wonderful town, enjoyed spending time here …

The lady at reception was very friendly and helpful. We arrived mid morning, three hours earlier than expected. We phoned ahead from the airport and was told the room wasn’t ready yet but they would make sure it was by the time we arrived. When we arrived we were given a map and told about the main attractions and the best way to get around and then were shown straight to our room. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was well equipped. Sky movies and sport were available on the tv. The place is well located on a main road and a very easy 10 minute walk into the city and all the attractions but it’s very quiet at night so had no problems sleeping.
