Perfect stay at a perfect price. Rooms and linen are very clean. Hospitable and friendly service with a smile. Close to the centre and very easy walk to the CBD. Facilities are clean and there are no maintenance issues. Kitchenette is perfect for what we needed. All the sports channels on the TV and the bed was very comfy. The guide to the area that was left in the room was incredibly helpful. Very quiet too! Thank you Toscana and we look forward to coming back one day!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Parking provided. Perfectly located, we walked into town. Close to shops and sights. A little noisy as most units face the busy road.

Well appointed, easy check-in, good location. Hosts were friendly, room contained everything we needed and required. Kitchenette was well equipped, bed was comfy, Will use it again for my Christchurch getaways.

We stayed in an upstairs one bedroom unit. The lounge area had ample and comfortable lounges a coffee table and good sized television with an excellent choice of channels including the Sky Sports channels. The kitchen area also had a table and chairs. The bedroom was located at the rear of the unit away from the busy roadway and also had television. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet the unit was, considering that the location is so close to the city centre. A small table and chairs were provided in an extended area outside the unit along the walkway. The conditions were very cold during our stay however good heating was provided. We were so pleased to come back to the unit each night and find that the heater had been switched on during our absence providing a very cosy return. The managers were very friendly and made us feel most welcome. Highly recommended for anyone wishing to enjoy the convenience of the City centre and the magnificent park.…

We have stayed at this motel many times over the last year or so... but shamefully just got around to writing a review. The rooms are super clean and comfy, with lovely pillows and linen. We really appreciate being able to stay at a clean premises with our 2 dogs, as this can be challenging at times. Despite reading a review that mentioned a strong dog odour in one of the rooms, this is never something we have experienced. The owners, Grant & Vivienne, are always friendly, helpful and most obliging, even accommodating last minute changes to our bookings on occasion. We highly recommend this motel!

Great from the beginning, easy to find and check in was a breeze. The man on the desk was so nice and super helpful, anything we needed he helped with. The room was so nice, very clean and tidy, super comfy bed and so nice and warm. We came back one very cold night and they had put the heater on in our room and it was super toasty, we were so looked after and made to feel very welcome

My daughter booked because we could take my dog (toy poodle) and we wanted to be central. A very comfortable motel and scrupulously clean. I take a collapsible cage when we travel and will definitely stay there again

It’s pet friendly and our room definitely stunk of smelly dog. Lovely room, large complete with table and chairs, bar fridge, microwave, electric frypan in the kitchenette and two arm chairs in the room. Bathroom large with sep shower. Good location to walk into CBD but nothing really close by. On site parking. Would have stayed again except the oder was just too strong. Perhaps tiles instead of carpet on the floor might help. Friendly staff.
