Friendly welcome. Off street parking. Handy for town and local mall. Within walking distance of lots of restaurants. Rooms very spacious, clean and well presented. One small suggestion--a rubbish bin in the bathroom would be good. Bed very comfortable.

Everywhere is 20 minutes from this clean and comfortable motor lodge. We stayed for 6 nights in a 2 bedroom self contained unit. The unit was cleaned every day and very suitable for our needs - family of 2 adults and 2 children. The owners were very pleasant and helpful.

This place was very handy to the city central. We indicated we were going to arrive late but it was no bother to them as they said they would leave the key in the unit. It had a great shower and plenty of kitchen space and facilities. The downfall was that we could not get any access to Internet and...

Thank-you for your feedback. We did have internet system issues for 48 hrs over that period. It was NOT an apple issue but rather a complete system needing updated which has been completed. We apologise this was not up to our usual high standards. Kind regards, Matt

Had two nights here. Unit (5) was extremely clean and comfortable. Back from the road so lovely and quiet from road noise. Well equipped. Beds very comfortable. Heater was on when we arrived late afternoon so lovely and warm. TV small and in an awkward position for all to see. Unit was serviced daily. Motel compendium full of valuable information...

Great room. Very helpful owners. Excellent location for price. I don't visit Christchurch often for work but will be staying here ever time now. Close to everything I needed. Very professional owners, can't fault.

Extremely Clean Spacious Studio Room in a central location. With a couch & TV and separate self-catering kitchen with table & chairs a bonus. The tea & coffee was replenished each day with the offer of fresh milk if required. The rooms were well aired and warm on arrival and the spa bath was a welcome relief/treat at the end...

The location was good. Everything seem to be 11 minutes away according to the Navman (or maybe it just couldn't count past 11). The rooms were adequate and the staff were just lovely. We did have a few problems with the toilet blocking up just about every day, the electric blanket didn't go and on the 3rd night both heaters...

Room 3 with a spa bath, great location in Merivale, very close to CBD. Clean facilities and room included self catering kitchen. Minus was a lack of exhaust fan in the room which I think is common in NZ motel rooms. Staff very welcoming.

We booked direct with the owners and were able to negotiate a discount. We arrived after hours so arrangements were made for easy access. Free wifi code had been left in our apartment. Our 2 bedroom upstairs apartment #9 at the back, was comfortable, spacious and well stocked with tea and coffee - including a good supply of plunger coffee....

The studio room is well appointed, bed, couch tv etc, spa bath, kitchen with enough equipment to be self catering. Good off street parking, close to cafes, restaurants and amenities. Friendly accomodating hosts make this a good place to stay. Competitive rates provide value for money.
