The Grange is located very centrally for getting into city, local restaurants & other tourist attractions. Staff were very welcoming & room very comfortable. Breakfast was great & substantial. All in all, a great place to start of our NZ experience. We stayed in the hotel section, not the motel part of the property.

We stayed 2 nights in room 5 at the Grange B&B and were very pleased with it. The room was spacious, well decorated, and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the house was quiet, and the included full cooked breakfasts were quickly served and very tasty. The location can't be beaten -- it is only a block from...

It's was my wedding night, they gave us a key the day before so we could be come in late. They also had a bottle of wine and with the extended 11am check out those small touches made our night even better.

Not really much to update since our last visit, but The Grange simply remains our one and only place to stay in Chch since 17 years now and feels like home every time we return. Lovely rooms in the motel section in the back with great large bathrooms, fantastic customer service and good breakfasts in the morning make it a...

We enjoyed our stay at the Grange. The B&B is full of period character but with modern comfort and conveniences. Our room and bathroom were both quite large and comfortable. My husband was pleasantly surprised to find a jacuzzi tub to relax after a long drive! The full cooked breakfast was very good and the staff helpful, kind and warm....

The Grange is located on the tram route - good way to get the layout of the city. The room in the motel section was comfy, roomy, with a kitchenette. Parking onsite. Only comment is that, like all of NZ there is no airconditioning and on a hot muggy night it can be uncomfortable but the balcony door left open...

We stayed here for our first 3 nights, the warm friendly atmosphere was a lovely welcome to NZ. It is in a good location and has recently been refurbished to a high standard. Lovely breakfast and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in room 2 which was extremely spacious with tea/coffee making facilities. We would recommend a stay in...

The guesthouse is centrally located and all main sights in Christchurch are at walking distance. The property is very old and possibly one of the first built in the city, but facilities are modern. We stayed in the rear extension which has been built in the same style. The only downside was the absence of air conditioning which however was...

Great location for walking around the city centre. Also has a historic tram at the door if you want to ride. Also, 'Cooking with Gas' Restaurant is just around the corner (best dining experience in Christchurch !!!!! ). Great motel room and great staff (Hi Linda)
