I stayed here for a couple of days in a dormitory. I had a great vibe in this hostel. Everything is clean and awesome- tidy and useful kitchen, clean room, cozy lounge, free Wi-fi, helpful and friendly staff! They even gave me a ride to the bus exchange in a city for free at 8:00am! That was so helpful, especially...

We stayed here for two nights in a double room, it was small but appeared tidy and clean. It wasn't until the last morning we found a couple of maggots in our blankets that we had a problem, we are really disgusted, wondering how long they had been sleeping with us. Atmosphere is friendly, communal but nothing special and not...

Thank you for your valuable feedback. We would like to convey your feedback into the improvement for Kiwi House management. Since we have not heard anything from you about the maggots when you were here, we could not deal with it. We would like to know more details of that in order to make Kiwi house more comfortable for our...

The hostel itself is quite nice, clean, friendly staff, big kitchen. But the location isn't great and someone stole my humus!!! The kitchens are cleaned on a thursday and I had labelled my humus tub with my name and room number using the labels they provide. I packed up early in the morning to find someone had taken my tub...

Arrived late but had a code and key organized by the helpful staff. The hosts allowed us to have a third person in a twin room which brought the cost down even further, but really was quite a squish. The kitchen area was clean and well organized but the fridges so jammed with food nothing else would fit in. Small...

Yes it is not the beautifullyst, breath taking and amazing location you will have in other hostels but there is a big but. The Kiwi House is clean and cheap (and close to the city). In the kitchen you will find everything you need. The not all the bathrooms have windows but everyone is clean and new and the air...

I booked this because of reviews I'd read. The hostel itself is lovely! Amazingly clean with good kitchen and facilities. However, the signage everywhere and the numerous long term residents mean the rooms are untidy and a bit smelly and it didn't feel very welcoming. A shame, when it's so nice

Everything began when I tried booking via phone. The Indian woman I talked to (Shari or Shiora or Shoria or something like that) just kept on inventing reasons why I can't book a room even though they had vacant rooms. It became rapidly clear that she was totally unfit for the job, she was incredibly rude and unhelpful and she...

Giving this a high ranking because it perfectly fits the role of a budget hostel, with a few nice extras. Its warm, clean enough, with good hot showers and plenty of kitchen space. This place seems to mainly house seasonal workers, so dont expect every room to be super tidy. It also DOES indeed have free wifi, which is never...
