Great little B&B near Christchurch. The rooms are nice and the service is super exceptional. We asked for early check-in and got it with fresh espresso and a smile - 6 hours early! Our hosts were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Could not recommend this place more.

Wow, what an absolute pleasure to stay in this stunning accommodation. The complimentary continental breakfast was appreciated. Immaculately clean and beautifully appointed. The furnishings were elegant and the room perfectly quiet with zero road noise.

I booked two nights a one bedroom in the Merivale Manor which was very beautiful but I realised my mistake very quickly when we arrived. I was travelling with my husband and 2 boys (8 and 6) and thought we could all squeeze into this lovely room. Once I realised my miscalculation I popped back down to reception and asked...

We had a couple of nights here before flying onto Auckland. The room was lovely albeit very small for travelling with suitcases each (216). You're given a couple of slices of frozen bread the day before to toast in the morning, with marmite, marmalade and jam and a few cereals. We marked this down as we'd ordered a shuttle to...

I booked the 2 bedroom apartment in the Manor and it was truly lovely accommodation with all of the comforts. It brought back many nostalgic memories of old homes I had visited when growing up in Christchurch. The only downside was that I booked the accommodation based on reviews that I had read which said it very quiet. The kitchen...

Merivale Manor Apartments are just perfect for a family for 2 - 3 couples. Very well appointed, quality linen & towels, but the most important thing... absolutely spotlessly clean. A short 4 minute walk into Merivale, a $8 Uber ride to Northlands. Will not hesitate to recommend and on my next trip home this is where I'll be staying. Thank...

We traveled to Christchurch last year for our honeymoon. Merivale Manor was a pleasant surprise to begin our amazing time in New Zealand. We had arrived very late in the night but to our surprise our room was made perfectly with all instructions and map to our room kept in an envelope. The Owners (Wayne and Karen) are very friendly...

We received a very warm welcome from the husband and wife team that run this motel when we arrived, and they gave us plenty of advice on nearby places to go for dinner and helped us with our luggage. We were staying in one of the studio rooms at the front of the property, rather than the gorgeous old building...

Great welcome and friendly hello upon arrival. The chalet room was just perfect, everything you needed apart from a frying pan for the morning bacon butties!! Air conditioning is always great to see in any room especially as it controls the heating too. Bath was a perfect luxury to end the day with, especially as it is a spa bath....
