Will most definitely stay here again, beautiful property, modern, extremely clean, free wifi and so accommodating with the most friendliest hosts. They also had bread in the fridge with condiments for breakfast which was so fabulous! Thank you for a wonderful stay :-)

What a lucky find. Great location in Papanui Road for our needs on this stay. The owners are lovely, welcoming and very helpful. The Te Wepu Suite is quite grand, comfortable, warm and welcoming. Would definitely recommend a stay at Merivale Manor.

I travel around NZ as a job and this ranks in my top 3 places I've stayed. The manor is quite special and I could see it suiting couples equally well for a romantic weekend away. You drive off of the main road and you are almost transported to another time. The little touches like complimentary toast and cereal, being...

This is the best place to stay in Christchurch. Good location 5 minutes walk to Merivale village. We've stayed here several times. The upstairs rooms in the manor house are my pick. Beautifully decorated rooms with comfortable beds. Kind and friendly managers.

I recently booked a stay at the Merivale Manor in Christchurch as we were coming down from Wellington and catching the Tranz Alpine Express train. There were five adults and a lot of luggage so I booked us all into the three-bedroom apartment together. We were all very impressed with the facilities. They were quiet, clean, spacious, very well-appointed and...

This property is outstanding. From arrival to departure and everything in between you can't fault a thing. Very fast, efficient and friendly check in procedure. Personally escorted to our room. We enjoyed the Peacock Suite for 2 nights and it was delightful. Furnishings, decor, cleanliness, comfort are just amazing. If you're looking for high class in Christchurch this property has...

It is on a very busy road, and I think the rooms in the back were probably fine, but it was loud and you feel exposed in the front rooms. We had a kitchenette, but with no fan, so we set of the fire alarm - at 7am! The staff was friendly. It was clean.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. Large air conditioned room with comfortable bed and large bathroom. Very friendly greeting upon arrival; and offered suggestions for local restaurants. Helped me with a "loaner" converter for the electric outlet. Was a life saver until I could find the correct converter for my cell phone. Also provided bread for toast and milk for...

We have enjoyed staying at Merivale Apartments attached to Merivale Manor on Papanui Road. The apartments are about $230 per night and this apartment could sleep six but it's ideal for four. Downstairs there is a big bedroom with ensuite, tv and bar fridge as well as a heat pump. It's a large bedroom but tight bathroom (if you are...

Very helpful hosts we had a long trailer that was accomodated easily. Stayed in the three bed apartments across the road from manor. Spotlessly clean and tidy excellent location with a cafe just down road and twenty minute walk into the city
