Hotel is located right in the heart of the city and is close to restaurants and some shopping. Christchurch is still under major construction repair following the major earthquake of 2010. Streets and buildings are under massive construction near this hotel. The beautiful old church around the corner you can see the devastation from the earthquake and they still don't...

Spent four nights here for work. Rooms are small, but functional. Nothing particularly specific to crow about. The location is great, except there is little to do in downtown Christchurch which is still recovering from the earth quakes from several years ago. Right around the corner (walk left out of the hotel, take a right on Colombo and then a...

Stayed one night here for a business trip, room was quite small but that's all I needed for one night. Staff were very friendly, breakfast buffet was great, everything was all around great apart from the shower pressure that was quite low. Easy to find and right in the centre of town with food and coffee stores opposite the hotel...

A fairly modern hotel in the city centre. That siad, the hotel location was fairly quiet with no noise troube at night. The cathedral (still showing earthquake damage) and the city malls were withn walking distance. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean and tidy. Reception staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate. A good choice if you...

This hotel is in the midst of the earthquake damaged area but somehow survived. The remains of the Cathedral lie literally around the corner. From here it is just a short walk to the city Start up container area, some new shops and also the river Avon. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful here so I would certainly...

We stayed at the Ibis for 2 nights in October 2016. We found it OK. Parking, for a fee, was underground. Reception was good and efficient. Its a bustling hotel with plenty of comings and goings. It's well placed in the centre of Christchurch and there were various cafes and bars around. We didn't eat there preferring to go out...

Easy hotel to find. Parking underneath the building, it's costs but so worth it for peace of mind. Easy check in. The buffet breakfast was fantastic, value...
