We spent one night here on the way from the Catlins to Christchurch & wish we'd had longer. It's in a beautiful spot with lovely views & the hosts were very welcoming indeed. They gave us great advice about places to visit & we would love to go back again. We spent a wonderful afternoon on a deserted white sand...

From our moonlit room in the starry suite to our breakfasts in the "tower", our three day stay with Jan and Mike was memorable. Our suite was very spacious with spectacular views of the cove right from our bed. From our glass enclosed sitting area, we enjoyed views of pudding island and, in the evening, views of the night sky....

e stayed in the Yellow house for 2 wonderful nights . Every thing was perfect: the wonderful , kind hosts, the luxurious clean rooms the delicious breakfast, the view and above all the feeling that if we only could we would stay. We traveled in New Zealand for 2 weeks and this was our best experience . Don't miss it

We just called by looking for a bed for two nights, We were lucky, and very happy with the lovely accommodation. Jan and Mike were the friendliest hosts and everything was just perfect. They made us feel very welcome,I loved in particular, their breakfast room up the top, and, of course, their very beautiful, furry house cats as we were...

I was recently in Dunedin on a business trip and stayed at the Yellow House. Although a short drive out from the City Centre, this is a drive well worthwhile. The hospitality of Jan & Mike was fantastic and the large spacious room created a nice relaxing environment to unwind from the stresses of work. Bed was extremely comfortable and...

We were delighted with our stay at the Yellow House...we decided to stay for 4 days so that we could properly explore Dunedin and the Otago peninsular. We were made very welcome by Jan and Mike and received a full briefing after arrival. It is a few miles out of town but that did not bother us at all ...in...

Spent 2 nights in the Starry suite. Typical Otago weather it was overcast both nights so could not appreciate the heavens. Not the hosts fault that! We had an excellent stay. Spotlessly clean and a very comfortable bed. Bathroom was big with spa bath and separate shower, again spotlessly clean. Lovely breakfast room on the highest level and a good...

We didn't stay in the starry suite but the room was still very nicely decorated. Linens and sheets were very comfortable. Room was very comfortable. Mike and Jan were great hosts. They gave us sightseeing tips and made sure we knew where we were heading. Breakfast was tasty and the dining room had a beautiful view of the bay.
