What a treat to stay in such a beautiful home. It is rare to have such an experience in New Zealand. Every detail is exquisite. Ewa, the owner, is very knowledgeable and she is extremely helpful with helping to make your stay memorable. She is a gracious hostess. The breakfasts were lovely and I met some interesting guests.

We had an enjoyable three night stay here. Apartment spacious & clean. Ewa & Keith very attentive to their guests needs and breakfasts were excellent. Parking outside apt difficult although Ewa tries hard to keep spot free for her guests. Spoiled by the area surrounding it although it is close to the city centre.

We stayed in many properties on our lengthy trip to New Zealand including several B & B's. This was one of the very best we stayed in. The hosts Ewa and Keith are simply delightful people, they have many stories to tell and have seen lots of the world having moved here from the UK some years back. Nothing is...

We spent only two nights at the Fletcher Lodge, but we could have stayed for many more. The owners; Ewa and Keith have done a wonderful job of restoring this beautiful home. The decorations are elegant and classy. A tremendous amount of detail has gone into getting this "just right". Their attention to detail in all that they do is...

This stop is near the end of our 3 week trip to Australia/NZ. We've seen it all. The most luxurious place was the Park Hyatt Sydney where we have a magnificent Opera View room. The Fletcher Lodge is a luxury bed and breakfast and totally different from a typical or even atypical hotel. But it is so lovely that it...

The lodge is located within walking distance of several excellent restaurants. Follow the hosts' recommendations - they know what they're talking about. Our bed was extremely comfortable, and our room was large, yet cozy at the...

Wonderful B&B a few blocks uphill from the center of town – this was our favorite out of all the places we stayed in New Zealand. Rooms are very comfortable and have all the little touches to make you feel at home, including bathrobes, fresh fruit (replenished daily) and a sewing kit complete with scissors tucked in the desk. Loved...
