So wonderful! The double bed was an absolute dream, breakfast was AWESOME (toast, lots of cereal, mills, several warm drink options). There was the most fluffy and friendly kitty. Fridge space! Parking! Everyone was so lovely and kind. Games in the living room made it feel like home. Iā€™d love to stay again. Thank you!

This was a very nice place, with a great family room and a large shared living/kitchen area. While I typically do not like dogs and cats running around in the kitchen, in this case it did not disturb me at all. Breakfast was offered, coffee was great and wifi excellent

1 night in Invercargill and Living on Dee had good reviews.. So I booked and arrived.. Very warm welcome.. Nice single room.. Coffee tea in room and very good WiFi.. Excellent facilities!! Washer dryer, fully fitted kitchen and brekky supplied! Overall very good, only downside was room was a little cold at night and no heater... at 23H too late to ask if they had a small one I could use.. Other than that highly recommend...

The be honest, this property is not what the booking acency promised and I certainly would not rate it as a B & B or hotel accommodation but more suited to back packers. The pics on the Living on Dee site show the property at it's best, without the clutter, renovation materials, half painted rooms, tatty carpet and overgrown grass. We were assured that we could make our own breakfast in the shared kitchen area from provisions in the fridge. The room we were were shown was at the end of an extension off the veranda which was so tiny we could not find anywhere to put our luggage and the only window was small and set high above the bed. I do not like pets sleeping on the bed so did not welcome the resident moggy laying on the linen, nor do I like being given linen that has been dragging in the dirt on the closeline out back. I was also not prepared to share the small bathroom and toilet with up to 10 other guests. In fact we agreed we felt like we had stumbled onto a Hillbillies hideaway and could not get out again quick enough. Sorry if I offend but have to be honest, would not recommend to anyone other than back packers or someone homeless.
