Just happened to be within walking distance of the family get-together, and what a great find. Great Host, comfortable room with ensuite, and just a home away from home. Can't recommend it enough. May many more find this great place.

A wonderful place where owner and staff take pride in providing a lovely comfortable clean environment and all amenities. As an older solo traveller I was welcomed with lots of local advice and information and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.

After staying at Lovett lodge a few times now for business I have bookmarked this accommodation in my 'first choice' list ! Clean, cosey and comfortable, I always know there will be a smile on arrival and a " drive safe" when I leave.

We enjoyed the homey feel. The lodge is clean and the hosts: Carol and Lindsay were very friendly. Carol was very helpful with tips of places to visit. The breakfast was great. In the evening, we could lounge in the living room and make tea or coffee. We stayed 2 nights at the beginning of our stay in Invercargill and decided to stayed another 3 nights at the end of our trip because we needed to relax. Carol makes you feel like family.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review, much appreciated. We are glad that we were able to provide you both with a comfortable homely environment, so that you could relax and catch up on emails and planning your trip back home. Loved having you both to stay - and were especially delighted that you returned to us for a second time. Take care and keep safe.

We booked the lodge for our stay in Invercargill. There were 8 people in our group and we stayed for 4 nights. The lodge was clean and tidy and the rooms were a really good size. Some of the rooms have ensuites and they are also a really good size. All the facilities were great, large lounge area ideal for groups to gather and a smaller lounge area for getting away. The arrangements for breakfast are ideal with a good selection of cereals and fruit along with yogurt and milk. Add to this toast with a selection of spreads what more could you need. The hosts and staff were very friendly and helpful and we would certainly recommend this as a place to stay. Great off street parking available all the time.
