Our family had another restful time away in our favourite flat. Thank you so much Karen, for your hospitality. The kids enjoyed the frosty mornings playing in the ice & seeing George. Looking forward to our next stay.

Although a great location with great facilities I felt unwelcome here as though I was intruding. There are signs and rules everywhere right down to a sign that tells you not to sit or put your suitcase on the spare bed in the cabin. As I travel alone, staying in a cabin and paying the price for a couple, I...

Good point!! Sometimes we can have one person staying in a four bed cabin and use every bed throw their bags dirty shoes on the beds etc. We then have to strip each bed pay for the linen clean of 6 to 8 sheets and then remake..but once again I take your point about that little cabin :)

We stayed here over New Year's and loved the management and property. Darling place filled with charm and kindness. Gary and Karen were more than helpful on several occasions, including mailing jewelry that was left behind to another hotel property for us! would highly, highly recommend.

Though it's a quite simple staying place, but interesting, and the staffs are friendly. There are children's playground, and annimal feeding activities, and the alpacas are so cute. The rooms are clean & warm & comfortable, we all like it, thanks.

By the time we arrived the reception was closed, but they had left instructions pinned to the door for us; full marks for hospitality. Also, good clean facilities and nice powered sites. However the park is compact and I found that it was difficult to drive the six-berth Maui River around it; particularly the turn to access the grey waste...

We stayed only the 1 night in Invergargill. This is our second time staying at this great, no excellent Holiday park. The owners are awesome. The facilities available was well set out and presented. We stayed in the "Retro Cottage" again. What a blast from the past. You just have to stay here. No trip to NZ and Invergargill would...

Highly recommend this out of the way gem. Spend two nights in the "tourist flat" here in January. Loved the owners (who are kind and helpful), enjoyed the "retro" vibe and the green-friendly policies and soaked up the fresh air. As other travelers have noted, the communal "Barn" is almost worth the stay in and of itself. If you're in...

We spent three nights here in December - the owners were very friendly and helpful. The barn was amazing as a community facility - huge and full equipped with everything you need. The owners gave us loads of info about places to visit - we enjoyed the museum and park in the centre of town and the shop with all...

We tent camped around the South Island for two weeks and consider this the best all round park we stayed in. Camp sites were private and grassy; newly completed "The Barn" is an outstanding camp kitchen/dining room/lounge that is worthy of an award. The entire suite is neat, tidy and committed to Eco-awareness. Farm animals in nice pastures add a...
