lovely motel in a great location and the bonus is the washing machine and dryer being free which is such a generous service to provide. The coffee machine in the reception office was also a lovely discovery and the hot chocolate was a delight to have in the evening

We had an apartment. Very roomy, very clean, very comfortable. Large lounge with kitchen and dining area, large bedroom and a well equipped bathroom including a spa bath. Although ours faced the main road traffic noise was minimal due to secondary glazing. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly and a complimentary paper was there every...

We stayed in a one bedroom Deluxe Suite, and it certainly provided a great large living area, with a small kitchenette attached. Beautifully furnished, clearly a refurbishment must have been completed fairly recently, as everything looked almost brand new. A bit of a walk into town, but after many fine New Zealand wines and dinners over the preceding 10 days,...

Amazing hotel, the huge room was clean, extremely comfortable. The kitchen area was very well equipped, wanted for nothing. The reception staff were brilliant explaining things, and how to get to different areas. Nice and close to the beautiful park. Tv reception was good, Well done Homestead villa motel

Our unit was very large with two bedrooms and a large kitchen. It was very nice. The motel also had a laundry room that could be used at no extra charge. A block away was Queen’s Park. This was a very nice park and included a rose garden, rock garden, aviary and animals. The motel staff was very helpful helping...

Large rooms, friendly staff. The little hidden extras are there - morning paper still being delivered, hairdryer, spa bath (at no extra cost) .... A great place to stay. Close to Queens Park and straight down the road into town. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We stayed for two nights. We have mixed feelings about the room. It was absolutely huge and the bed was comfy. Unfortunately it was a downstairs room and the noise from upstairs was very loud and annoying. Also the milk provided expired the day after we checked in so was no good for our final day.

Recently stayed in a 2 bedroom unit with my family (two young kids). Plenty of space, well appointed and had everything we could have needed. Liz on reception was incredibly friendly and helpful with questions/dining recommendations etc. Small issue with Internet being a little slow but otherwise fantastic - great value for money!

We stayed in a queen room with a jetted spa on the ground floor and it was very impressive. The main room had a well appointed kitchen(pots and fry pan etc), fridge and microwave plus two couches and tv, in the bedroom was a queen bed and single with very comfortable mattress and good bedding, plus another tv. The bathroom...

Was really disappointed with this place. It looks really nice and at $120 per night you expect it to be ok. We were given room 22 what a truely horrible dark cold room, right by a walk way. Today is a warm day but we had to put the heater on. It smelt like left over Indian take aways. Maybe...
