No one on reception on arrival. Had to phone a certain call centre three times before let in and then twice more to arrange parking. Lift seems lethal. Room dirty and cold. Bathroom walls and towels covered in other guests hair. Kitchen lights blown, some dirty plates and cutlery in drawers, near impossible to use hob, no oven or grill,...

Thank you for your feedback which appears consistent with your review history. We do apologise for the difficulty your experienced in checking in after 10pm. Most guests find this a fairly simple process. Our reception is manned from 7am to 8pm, with a duty manager on-site 24hrs daily - whom I understand you did speak with eventually to sort out...

We arrived in Invercargill just after Xmas and, although the town was quiet, we looked forward to exploring the area. Unfortunately the town was mainly shut - you cannot buy alcohol anywhere other than a public house so going back to our rooms for a quiet evening was out of the question. The Quest is an old building but comfortable...

Thank you for your kind feedback Dorothy. Alcohol is available from bottle stores ) liquor outlets) in Invercargill - although they are a bit of a walk from the hotel. Even they, like many businesses, are closed during the Xmas and New Year public holiday days. The hotel is a restored 1940 Central Post Office and the developers have tried...

We booked here at the last minute through the i site after our Stewart Island ferry canceled due to bad weather. The accommodation was totally comfortable, clean and well located in town central. Staff were very helpful. Parking was convenient. Kitchen was fine, no stove. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

Me and my partner love staying in the quest. You can't beat the value for money especially with your own washing machine and dryer as well as a bath!! Can't beat laundry facilities when travelling for place to place it soon builds up. Lovely and modern and very comfortable best nights sleep in a long time!! 👌🏻❤️

The Quest is in the old Post Office of Invercargill. This fact alone is a good reason to stay there, but there are many more of course. The location of the hotel is excellent, in the center, near the central bus station and near all the attractions the city has to offer. The service was excellent, including free laundry service....

When we arrived I thought oh no, a bit dated from the outside, but once inside its super, rooms spacious and modern. We had a one bedroom apartment, TV in both rooms, dishwasher, microwave, etc all seemed new. Great value for money. Staff very helpful and greeted us with a smile.

Came for a one night stay travelling around NZ. Staff very friendly on arrival, and the studio executive apartment was roomy and clean. The bonus was having a washing machine and dryer within the apartment.

We arrived at 2.30pm and our room wasn't ready. We had pre booked. Asked to go away and come back later. But when we did get into our room it was very adequate. Clean and well presented. The staff were all very nice. I'd come back but first impression is important.

Thank you for your feedback Peter K. We do again apologise for your room not being ready when you arrived. The hotel was full the previous night with split king beds and these had to be all reinstated to full king's during the 4 hour window between 10am and 2pm. As Murphy's Law would have it, every room was done...

After previous experiences at other Quest Properties I did have reservations. But I must say well impressed . Great apartment with kitchenette facilities and a breakfast available if required. Centrally located in the Main Street of Invercargill made things easy walking distance. Clean and tidy, perhaps just a little noisy. Would happily return and thanks to the front desk staff...

Kat, our receptionist was extremely helpful with maps and directions. The room was clean and comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom very good. Even though it is on the main road it was not noisy.
