Absolutely loved our stay at beach road holiday park. We were just passing through with our little one for business and received excellent service. The room was great value and the park really beautiful and welcoming. Thank you very much

Friendly owner. Nice to see that the kitchen was well equipped which is not always the case in a lot of campgrounds. Sad to see though that there are no Recycling facilities whatsoever and everything ends up in the Rubbish bin....couldn't stand it so took all our Recyclables with us. Also the provided freezers need a bit of a clean out as they are absolutely chocker full of stuff from people that probably left it behind long time ago, as most stuff had no names on it. No room to put anything. The shower pressure was fabulous but it would be great to have a shelf or a bench in there to put some stuff on while having a shower.

Great to stay in a traditional Kiwi Holiday Park, right on the Te Araoa Trail. Clean and tidy unit, with all necessary facilities. Extremely helpful staff and the best showers of any holiday park I've ever stayed in. Jim Cabin 13

We were in dubio: stay close to Invercargill to experience the atmosphere of a pub night when the All Blacks played, or stay close to Bluff for an easier connection with the ferry to Stewart Island the day after. We chose the first, and haven't regretted that decision once. Bev gave us the warmest welcome, helped us put the camper aside for a couple days (travelling off season might have helped to make this possible) and even dropped us off and picked us up at the airport for a flight to Stewart Island, thus making a flight the cheaper option than driving to Bluff for the ferry and parking on an expensive parking lot for a couple nights. Lovely free hot showers, warm and fully equipped communal kitchen, cosy lounge room and all that for a very affordable price (15pppn)
