Fortunately it is alright to stay there. Great new showers and toilets and kitchen/diner was good to cook and socialise. Be aware there is no phone signal and wifi is embarrassingly expensive for what you get.

This place is amazing - we stayed in the hostel portion, but they have private rooms overlooking the river too, which look amazing. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with utensils and pots but could have done with some oil, salt, etc. The restaurant and cafe are also great - delicious coffees. The only reason we didn't give this place...

We drove our campervan to Milford Sound and parked at the lodge for the night. Possibly because we changed our reservation somewhat last minute we ended up with a spot that was essentially in the hotel parking lot. There are some very nice wooded spots a bit further from the hotel that are nicer. However when it's raining all the...

Stayed in a Mountain Chalet for one night and the room was extremely clean. There are not any options for dining in Milford Sound outside of the cafe in the Lodge and the food is extremely tasty and good value for money - expect to pay at least 25 for mains. Service is great - employees are extremely helpful and...

The Milford Sound Lodge has accommodations, like a holiday park, for just about any level of comfort that you may want. From luxury chalets, to dorm rooms, to camp sites. Our party of four had a four bed dorm room that had two bunk beds. The room was small and rustic, but that was all that we needed. The dorm...

We stayed one night here in February 2017, and it was the most beautiful night of my life. The view is the best I've seen in my entire life. Definitely worth booking WELL in advanced, although we snagged the hotel one week before we got here, because I guess someone cancelled their reservation. It is worth the price, for the...

Stayed here as there is little alternative. Prices are ridiculous and we were forced to take a cruise as part of the room charge. For what we paid, sharing facilities is not really acceptable. The bathrooms were no better than I would expect for a $20 per night campsite and yet we paid 6 times that price. I know there...
