Amity Lodge Motel is walking distance from the centre of Queenstown, but amazingly quiet. It is uphill back from the city but quite manageable even with some groceries Our 2 bedroom apartment was up one flight of stairs, off street car parking close and we had views of the mountains and the gondola. We were warmly welcomed by Doug who...

Amity lodge is in a great location with a short walk to the city and also to catch your tours at the "station". We stayed in unit 14. We paid $450 per night so it is expensive, Queenstown is expensive. We could hear foot steps from the people above which was annoying when your drifting off to sleep. Views of...

Had a week here. Everything about the place is just want you want. The apartments are spacious, comfy and well equipped. The owners are so helpful and friendly....it is NZ after all...and make you very welcome. Queenstown is a pretty pricey place but Amity is very reasonable and excellent value. Easy 10 minute stroll into town and a few dollars...

Me and my travel buddy had a 5 night stay here and would definitely come back. From the friendly welcome, including an introduction to the resident dog, to a tour of our apartment and advice about local activities - the tip for the free walking tour was great- Jo and Doug were excellent hosts. The balcony was the highlight: to...

Comfortable if kind of basic accommodation, apartment was clean and pretty well equipped. Handy distance from town, you'll easily hit your 10000 up and down the hill! Also handy for some key sights as town parking is often a problem

This lodge Is well located close to the CBD Andy yet very quiet. Lake side and the park was only a stone's throw away. The facilities were adequate, room size was okay. Price was reasonable. The staff was very friendly. Overall we were happy about the stay and would recommend to others.

Recently stayed 5 total nights in two separate rooms. Found the motel to be everything I wanted. It is situated about 15 minutes from noisy and touristy downtown Queenstown on a quiet residential street. The walk from town involves a moderate hill but what doesn't in Queenstown which is surrounded by hills? No big deal. The rooms are excellent from...

Our unit was spacious and well equipped, if slightly dark. Motel was easy to find, just off the main road into Queenstown. Walking into town took only 5-10 mins but longer coming back because of the hill! We felt quite at home after our 3-day stay, and although we are not dog lovers, enjoyed the owners' cute quiet dog being...

We came and went three times and had a different room each time and all were excellent. I liked that there was a separate bedroom and lounge/kitchen area and each time had a well appointed kitchen. Immaculately clean. It was cold while we were there so really appreciated the heated towel rack. Jo and Doug are excellent hosts and if...

Good location for us while visiting the adventure capitals NZ! The check in was easy and the room was great! Small touches that the staff did were really appreciated! There is a laundry room to use on the premises. We were lucky enough that the service put up a drying rack for us while we were out so our clothes...
