Fantastic hotel with wonderful lake views, we stayed in a studio type room which was very clean and comfortable for the two of us, great views to wake up to every day. Although a little out of town the hotel supply a shuttle bus which runs every hour on the hour returns at 1/4 past the hours, need to book...

Have just returned from 5 x days at The Rees in a 2 bedroom Lakeview Apartment. This would have to be one of the best maintained, comfortable, and with the best views around out of any of the hotels we have previously stayed in in Queenstown. This deserves to be the number one place to stay in Queenstown. The daily...

After 6 years of doing business in NZ on the North Island, this was my first time to the South Island. I selected the Rees because of it's location - which is between the airport and the "village" of Queenstown - out of the hustle bustle of a busy tourist area. Couldn't have made a better choice. The pictures on-line...

Shown to our room on our arrival via Melbourne. On entering we were met with an amazing view of the snow capped Remakables mountain range over Lake Wakatipu. The room it's self was amazing the bathroom had a whirlpool bath with the same view as from the bedroom. The staff without exception went out their way to make us feel...

We stayed for two nights and were very pleased with our hotel room overlooking the lake. From our balcony we could see construction work below but it did not interfere with the view at all. We spent our days away from our room, so any noise there may have been wasn't an issue. The staff couldn't have been more helpful...

We spent 3 nights in one of the luxurious apartments overlooking the lake. Large, well furnished in modern style, full kitchen facilities include washer, dryer, dishwasher, waste disposer, large fridge freezer, oven and hob. The blinds are opaque, which impedes privacy to some extent. The lounge area was spacious, and included a flame effect gas fire. Good size bathroom, with...

5 Stars (based on ?) and ....southern hospitality at its finest is the promise in The Rees publications, the reality is far from that. The small breakfast room for a hotel of this size was only occupied by 5 other guests at 8:10am, so it shouldn't be a problem to get a fried egg and catch the 9am shuttle. Well...

The views of the lake from the room are spectacular as well. Staff was great helping with reservations and making recommendations. The walk to town is a bit...

We rented a 2 bedroom apartment during the winter ski season. The fire place was remarkable, memorable and usefully warm. It had a magnificent panorama view over the Queenstown lake and the mountains. The beds were comfortable and kids loved the bathroom. It provided a wonderful stock of wine from "Surveyor Thomson" at a reasonable price. Parking was convenient. One...
