Really clean, spacious rooms. Staff was very friendly, always willing to help. 3 well equipped kitchens with plenty of sockets to charge your laptop. Only 5 mins from town and very close to the local supermarket.Would highly recommend.

The hostel was very clean, the service was great and the location was brilliant. However, it felt like the hostel was overrun with people who were staying long term and was very cliquey. The common areas were always full of the long termers and we did not feel we were very welcome to join. The walls in the rooms were... More

A great group of people to meet, clean and friendly place. Free wifi, coffee, tea, a hot tub, affordable weekly rates for long-term residents, no curfew, walking distance to town and gondola, knowledgeable people working there.

Stayed at quite a few hostels over the ski season here in Queenstown, but this was easily the best. Much better staying here for a while rather than finding one of the dingy, miserable house shares in Queenstown. Couple of mins walk out of town but just where you need to be. Easy access to town, mountains and everything you... More

Good kitchens, lots of storage. Close to town but not load traffic or anything. Cosy lounge and nice atmosphere. Bedrooms have lockers with a plug socket which is really handy and secure. My room even had a bathroom in it, so didn't have to wait for a shower.

5-minute walk to town centre. Quiet hostel. FREE Unlimited WiFi. Warm rooms. Nice clean and warm showers. Really nice Manager Chris who went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay in Queenstown. Thank you!

The hostel is in a great location, close to town but away from congestion and noise. Also it's right near the towns largest grocery store. I would recommend this hostel because of its friendly, homelike feel. The staff are very helpful and even offer to carry your luggage for you (you wouldn't get that at Base or Nomads!). Plus, it... The hostel is very convenient to walk into Queenstown from. The owner was very friendly and showed us around. The kitchens and bathrooms were very clean. We were in one of the outside huts. There was plenty of parking as well for our car. Wifi was free, but you had to get a new code from 10am every morning. We... More

Stayed in the flaming kiwi for 2 months as a short termer and liked it so much that I'm heading back for a second stay. Staff are friendly and are willing to help you with any queries, and location wise it's convenient being 5 minutes away from town but also being in a quieter part of queenstown it's not too... More
