This is a great option and so close to all the bars for a safe stagger home!! But also just that tiny bit further from town so your not kept awake all night by QT night-owls! Read some other reviews and I have to seriously disagree on the comment about uncomfy beds!! Mine was great, ive stayed here twice now...

Spent a great weekend in Queenstown and stayed at this backpackers, and What a great place! Its quite a quirky looking place and it's like a rabbit warren inside with all its corridors!! its right in the centre of town so not far to stagger home, its been newly decorated in parts of it so its clean & tidy, the...

Had an awesome stay at the lab recently on my trip to Queenstown...Whatever problems we had the staff were there to solve! They went the extra mile to make us feel at home in Queenstown, letting us know the most suitable activity's for our group, and even going out of there way to get the cheapest deals and take us...

I stayed here three nights. The only good thing was the free unlimited Wifi.... Everything else was just bad and the money not worth. Especially considering that BBH members could have save heaps of money by choosing another hostel. In my view its definitely overpriced. The beds are so uncomfortable that you really don't like stay more than those one...

Myself and my partner checked into this hostel as we were low on money and they offered a $140 weekly rate. Wow were we wrong to do this. I have never stayed anywhere in Australia and New Zealand that was so filthy and poorly run than The Lab! To start the reception or desk where a hostel manager/receptionist should be...

Free wi-fi was the best thing about this hostel! Plus it has a great location, about a 2 minute walk into town. The service was a bit spotty, the staff didn't seem very interested but they got their jobs mostly done. I was traveling with 3 other girls and we ended up with a 4 person room to ourselves so...

We purchased a deal from grabone.co.zn. Based on the 98 NZD/2 night for one couple room, we can not expect more. They have almost all the facilities. The room, toilet and shower room maybe some kind of small but still fine for us. The big kitchen room is also very useful for us. Can not find the staff all the...

We should have known there was a problem here when we rang to book two rooms, and at the end of the conversation, they had only booked one for us! They then rang a few days before our arrival to ask if we minded being changed to a different room, because "a couple is coming and specifically requestsed a double."...

It would get zero stars. Her room looked like it had not been cleaned in months. There was thick dust everywhere, and what she hoped was sand in the bed. She and her friend ended up leaving a night early (without being offered a refund). Now for my review: We took a 10 day trip around the South Island, staying...

The Lab isn't everyone's cup of tea but if your an up-beat, go with it and happy-go-lucky kinda person then you will love it! The people that stay there are great. Granted some have been there for a long time but the time i spent there I made friends for life. The Manager can be a bit cranky but you...
