I've stayed at many hostels, hotels, motels, you name it, but this has to be THE WORST accomodation I've ever stayed at! I severely strained my foot while staying at this accommodation, when ringing them from my room and asking them if they had a first aid kit because I was in severe pain, and couldn't walk up to reception,...

Pinewood Lodge had very friendly staff that were willing to help. Located near Skyline Gondola and 5-10 minute walk to town. They provided free wifi throughout the Lodge. In H dorm they didn't have power plugs in the room and there wasn't a lot of showers or toilet to share between a large amount of people. Showers were hot and...

We stayed here during our sports week some of us stayed the night before. But it was odd because the night before we were underage kids sharing rooms with 30yo people. But anyway it was an alright place to stay with a large group of us with a short walk to town it was below average though

Basically a share house with limited showers/toilets- annoying. No-one keeps clean, very dirty. Very noisy at times. House door was always left open. Our food, including condiments, were taken from the communal kitchen. Reception didn't care. Very inconvenient. Cleaners came only once in a hoard and all were seriously rude and grumpy then basically topped up loo roll and left...

We stayed in a double room, which happened to be a normal house on a street with three bedrooms, one bathroom and a kitchen/living room. It was just a house share and the other couples spent a lot of time in the bathroom which got pretty annoying... It was just a really weird set up. Definitely wasn't cleaned ever... We...

We were woken up by a cleaner coming into our room 2 hours before our 10am checkout. We heard someone come to the door and put the key in the door, as they were fumbling with key (some time) we were both yelling loudly not to come in, but they still opened the door and came in,wyle we were both...

I stayed for a week at Pinewood on a discounted rate. I didn't have very high expectations considering the price however it was worse than I could have imagined. The other people in the block were dirty and unfriendly. They seem to have had a disagreement with management that meant the space was not being cleaned. The one time I...

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of our trip around New Zealand. We'd previously spent time in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Picton and Greymouth in the 9 days prior to arriving in Queenstown, and we have since spent some time in Christchurch too. Pinewood lodge was by far the worst stay we had. The room we booked was advertised...

Stayed here for five nights in May. There were so many faults with this place: dirty, fridge broken, only one plug in the room so you have to choose between heating and charging a device to speak to friends and family back home, if there more plugs downstairs this wouldn't be an issue, but there aren't any spare ones, the...

Booked Mill House for 5 adults - ourselves and 3 adult children. Spacious and reasonably appointed. Fittings a little old but everything worked well. Could probably do with some more kitchen utensils as there was not enough for food preparation. Within walking distance to center of Queenstown
