We found information about Trelawn at the i site office in Wanaka after being warned there were no rooms available anywhere in or near Queenstown. What a delightful surprise! Nery and Michael were gracious from the moment we arrived. The setting is magical. It was the perfect spot to spend our final days on the South Island.

My husband and I have just spent the most lovely week at Trelawn Place. We had the Cherry Tree apartment that's perched on the hill overlooking the Shotiver River valley. Conveniently located just 8 minutes out of Queenstown and a short drive onward to Arrowtown. Where do we start? Michael & Nery (and Lucy & Kobe, the resident Corgis) are...

From the moment we first saw Trelawn we knew it would be a perfect wedding venue for us. The photos really don't do it justice, it is truly breathtaking and all our guests from around the world were quite simply blown away. The combination of cottages, self-contained apartments and rooms were perfect to give family and wedding party their own...

Thank you for your lovely comments. Big family weddings where everyone stays on site are fun and slightly more relaxed. All the best for your future.

Trelawn Place is a beautiful and secluded place with stone cottages and a B&B built by Michael and Nery on gorgeous grounds, looking out over the Shotover river. We stayed in the apartment, which was very comfortable, and had a completely relaxing couple of days. You can walk about the property and admire the views, and watch the jet boat...

Taking a break from the luxury hotel scene, we opted to stay in a local B&B in Queenstown during our New Zealand trip. It was a good decision. Michael & Nery are very easy hosts who keep things casual. Trelawn is an easy 5 minute drive from Queenstown and easy to find, as it is well marked on the road....

Twenty years ago, my wife and I stayed at Trelawn Place during our honeymoon. We recently stayed there again with our entire family. The stay was as relaxing and pleasant as it was 20 years ago. Michael and Nery are outstanding hosts. We again stayed in the "Cottage". The cottage has an upstairs bed and downstairs living area + second...

We had beautiful little garden cottage which has lovely views over Shotover River down a steep cliff with imposing mountains above. However after the great initial wow factor, the charm starts to fade. To be honest the cottage is really too small for 4 adults. There is a single loo/washroom/shower-room , a kitchen/living room, a very small upstairs double bedroom...

Avoid at all costs.Totally overated. You should note thst they don.t show any photos of their youth hostel type showers on their web site .Run by owners who are living in a dream world. Would rate as one of the worst places to ever stay on Queenstown .How it gets a 4/5 star rating is beyond me. T

My husband and son had booked the cherry tree cottage for last week. Unfortunately one of my other sons broke his leg so was not able to join his brothers tramping and joined us in Queenstown. Nery and Michael were very kind putting up an extra roller bed for him. The cottage is gorgeous and the view is to die...

Staying for three nights over Christmas period in the Cherry Tree cottage was like finding little paradise. Since my other half loves to cook, we managed to whip up lovely meals for Christmas overlooking the magnificent river and mountain view. The cottage is very private with jacuzzi and upstairs bedroom. The view was amazing. The garden was very pretty and...

Thank you for your comments, we do wonder how we can improve the kitchen , especially when there is no more room to expand. We gladly offer free use of what equipment we have in the main house. Recently we added a rice cooker for the Chinese. There is a gas barbeque outside that can be quite handy.
