Alex, Jude and staff are warm and welcoming. The decor is lovely and tastefully done. Our room had a great view of the lake and mountains and the breakfast is delicious. Besides the starters of fruit, yogurt, cereal, etc., there is a wonderful selection of cooked breakfasts, all beautifully prepared. Alex gave us great restaurant recommendations as well. We had... We stayed 2 nights either side of our Milford Track walk. Hosts Judy & Alex and staff were very friendly. Judy & Alex were knowledgeable about places of interest & eateries in Queenstown. We tried two of their recommendations and were very impressed. The Chalet was delightfully inviting - spotless & the comfiest bed! Breakfast was delicious and Judy got... More

Excellent room, excellent service. We stayed two non-consecutive nights and B&B stored our luggage while we were doing Milford track. Owner brought us to downtown when it rained. Offered Good choice of breakfast. Comfortable beds.

We have really enjoyed our stay at the Queenstown Chalet. Since our NZ trip was booked just three months in advance, there was only one night availability at this exceptional B&B, but we would have loved to have spent all three nights there. Jude was a very welcoming host, she spent time talking with us about our travels in NZ... More

The Chalet Queenstown certainly has the chalet look about it and the interior is well laid out with a nice lounge area and a garden for use by residents. Our double room overlooked the lake but the word bijou came to mind as it measured approx 5m x 5m and that included a closeted bathroom within the space accessed through... More

We stayed three nights at the Chalet Queenstown. It was decorated fun for Christmas, with an upside down Christmas tree in the stairwell - nice to enjoy life! We had a corner room with great views and a pleasant breeze at night. The room was small, comfy bed and nicely decorated. The bathroom was also small, but worked out fine.... More

Thanks so much for your review. It was our pleasure to have you stay over the holiday period. That time of year parking is quite difficult from the peak season and we do find that guests not only appreciate being able to leave their cars (sometimes after long drives) and not having to battle their way through the town only...
