Bill and Kari made our visit to Queenstown delightful and effortless. Their inn is comfortable and roomy with stunning views of the Remarkable Mountains and Lake Wakatipu. They are pleasant and engaging hosts, leading interesting and well informed conversations at cocktails and at breakfast. They went out of their way to accommodate every need we had (or thought we had),...

Most important is for those who read this to be confident that I am not affiliated with the property in any manner. I have traveled to more than 100 countries; this was my first visit to Queenstown, New Zealand. My initial email to Pencarrow was met with a prompt and detailed reply with options; I knew from that moment that...

Kari greeted us at the airport and we followed her in our rental car to the beautiful Pencarrow. We took pictures even before going inside! The garden is beautiful; the view of Lake Wakatipu and the mountain range is magnificent. Once inside, we chose our rooms and found a thoughtful note, home baking, candies...and gifts waiting for us. The rooms...

We had very limited time in Queenstown, but our one-night stay at Pencarrow was outstanding. A beautiful location with warm hosts, Bill and Kari. The breakfast they prepared was not only a uniquely gorgeous presentation, it was delicious. Traveling with another couple we both felt that Bill and Kari provided us with information that enabled us to get the most...

Queenstown was our last stop on the South Island which is why we decided to treat ourselves to a really luxury hotel and Pencarrow turned out to be an excellent choice! Yes it was very expensive but you do get what you paid for! This charming little Bed and Breakfast stands on a hill overlooking Lake Wakatipu which means all...

The views over the lake and the mountains beyond are just spectacular, but the warmth and gracious hospitality of Bill and Kari made our stay over New Year's even more memorable. The rooms are modern and elegant, plus a lovely common room as well. Bill and Kari go out of their way to make every guest feel special, and on...

I write this after 11 years because I'm not sure you could provide reviews back then but I just started and had to go back and give a plug for Pencarrow. In 2002 (I had to put a date below so I used November, which is when we went) we stayed here on our Honeymoon. The place was so fantastic....

For our 25th wedding anniversary I wanted to take my wife somewhere special as a surprise. I started searching online and quite by chance stumbled on Pencarrow, a stunning Bed and Breakfast boutique private hotel overlooking Queenstown in New Zealand's beautiful South Island. I started by e-mailing owners Kari and Bill Moers and from the get go, their reception was...

“There are two suites on the first floor and two suites on the second floor; I was in the lower left one-bedroom suite... I loved it as I had doors onto the lower terrace... a special place. There is a wonderfully-placed hot tub; no pool or fitness center (I could not remove the rating for those above; sorry). But, in Queenstown there is no need for either since you are always moving!”
