We stayed here based upon other TripAdvisor reviews, and were very pleased. The hotel is away from the main street, so quiet, but nevertheless convenient. The rooms are very pleasant and well-furnished, and the wifi worked flawlessly. Breakfast was very well done and delicious. Having all our clothes laundered after a cruise was a real benefit, as well. Our host,...

The hotel is located just above the main street - close to all the action, but far enough so it is a quiet setting. We were greeted by Joni Meadows who was very warm and helpful. The rooms are comfortable - we had a small balcony with a view of the mountains and the town. We had been on the...

Queens town is a very busy place so it was great to have 3 nights at Browns. It is quiet and peacefully positioned but just a short walk to the main town , the gondola and the waterfront . As parking is difficult this is a huge plus! The room was very comfy with stunning views from the balcony and...

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here - rooms were comfortable with larger than average bottles of spring water in the fridge The views over the lake and out to the Remarkables mountain range were wonderful. Mike was an excellent host who worked hard to accommodate us - we were going trekking with a 6.00 am breakfast required on the first day....

High standard accommodation with great views over the lake to the "Remarkables" in the distance. Nothing too much trouble for Mike and his friendly staff. We were able to leave our car and luggage while we went for an overnight at Milford Sound. Excellent breakfast, wise to ask for a small portion if watching your waistline!

Mike made us very welcome, was always there to help. It is a beautiful almost French style building, our room was large and luxurious with every amenity we needed. The views from the juliet balcony breath taking. A very short walk to the town centre with its excellent restaurant, shops and lakeside. Breakfast was extensive and personal choices happily catered...

A small quiet hotel in Queenstown just metres from the town centre is quite a find. Only stayed one night, but know we could have stayed longer. Good sized room with balcony offering lake views and cooked breakfast included - can't be bad!

Mike greeted us upon our arrival. He made me feel as if we were the best of friends and had seen each other the day before. Each morning Mike efficiently took our hot breakfast order. My poached eggs were cooked to perfection with a slightly firm yolk just as I requested with one rasher of bacon. Peter-Ray and Mike graciously...

It's a B&B Pros Close to town , clean tidy , lounge area to sit and have a drink Cons Room is very basic doesn't quite feel how it looks in their photographs . Not enough places if everybody comes down for breakfast at the same time had to wait a long time on the second day . It does...

We stayed for 2 nights to finish a fortnight's exploring NZ and weren't disappointed. Our room had a wonderful panoramic view of The Remarkables and the lake in the foreground. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. On arrival, it being peak holiday time, Queenstown was rammed and parking looked to be a concern as the hotel has a very compact...
