Another late review for May 2016. Views at the lodge are spectacular and so are the rooms. Service, so, so. Sometimes good, lots of mistakes in our booking which resulted on missing a jet boat ride n embarrassing moment when we told we had been provided the wrong voucher for our Milford trip. Forced friendliness at times which was quite...

The Azur Lodge is one of the finest small hotels in the world, in my opinion. The property consists of a small number of individual villas, all of which afford one of the best views in New Zealand. The Lodge is located on a bluff about ten minutes from Queenstown Center, facing the lake with sweeping 180 degree views of...

Our stay at Azur was immensely comfortable, yet ultra luxurious and relaxing as well. The staff was extremely attentive, but also warm and not pretentious in the least. The cakes with tea everyday are homemade daily and canapés and cocktails were delicious as well! All of our known and unknown wishes were met. I became very ill unexpectedly one night...

Gavin and all the staff at Azur (including Elvis) were simply wonderful! There was nothing overlooked, no aspect of our stay that could have been any better (well, except for the weather which was rainy our entire visit). The villas at Azur are very well laid out, the beds very comfortable. We took advantage of the car service provided by...

The Azur Lodge strives to be unique in both location and service - and boy, do they deliver! Over the years we have stayed at quite a few so called top notch resorts (such as Jade Mountain, Can Simoneta and the likes) but Azur really stands out from the crowd for the level of service they deliver and the feeling...

This is one of the best boutique hotels that I have been to. It has an amazing location with outstanding views of the lake and mountains that you wake up to each day. The thing that shines is the extremely personalized service and attention that each and every staff member gave us and made is feel like VIPs. The staff...

The Azur is tucked up on a hill, and is one of the most magical places to be spoiled amidst the spectacular views of the mountains surrounding Queenstown. At your service is a versatile cadre of professionals who pour you a welcome glass of wine, prepare nightly appetizers, prepare a custom gourmet breakfast, drive you into Queenstown for errands, dinner...
