Such a peaceful, wonderful place! Welcoming and warm hosts, they really made us feel like home. The room and bathroom were very clean and nice. Loved visiting with the animals. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The start of our NZ trip and it was perfect! Its quiet, peaceful and fantastic views. Its so close to the action of queenstown but so quiet. Exceptional hosts too that make you feel right at home and can answer any questions you have, and those you didn't even know you had! Pity we only managed one night!

We stayed for 2 nights and were made to feel very much at home by our hosts Carol, Reg and Nicola. The room that we stayed in (which was upstairs) was very spacious and had lovely outlooks. The bathroom which was very large had a spectacular view. The bed was very comfortable and we got a great night's sleep on... More

After traveling solo for about ten days in NZ, being welcomed into Carol & Reg's home was food for my soul. They are genuine and warm, and the energy of their house reflects the love of their family. Their daughter and grandon rounded out the famoly atmosphere, making me feel more like a realive or old friend than a hotel... More

Last stay on our tour and what a way to finish. The house is in a great location with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. The weather was good enough for us to take breakfast outside which was a great way to start the day. Molly the pet sheep is never far away and the two scottie dogs come and... More

We loved Crown View. The house is great and the rooms are really nice. There is also a very comfortable guest room on the main floor in which you can read or hang out. The breakfast is the best we had, yogurt, cereal, hashbrowns, toast, bacon, and eggs. And the best part are all of the animals, the chickens, alpacas,... More

We spent 2 nights at Crown View and we liked it so much that we decided to change our holiday plans to go back and spend few more days there! What makes Crown View so great is the fantastic location, the farm, the rooms but more than anything else Caroll and her family. They really try their best to accommodate... More

We have stayed in Crownview for 3 yrs in a row, and can never get enough of Caroll's and Reg's warmth & hospitality. Caroll's attention to details is legendary. She only provides the best & most luxurious amenities for her guests - feather/down beddings, expensive towels, tea/coffee/biscuits in the room, and even the toilet rolls are thick & pretty! Her... The Crown View is a fantastic place to stay. Caroll and Reg are wonderful hosts and their home is classy and beautiful. It is situated on a hillside with glorious views of the Crown Range and the Remarkables. It's handy to both Arrowtown and Queenstown. We were there four nights and could have stayed longer because there was so much... More

“I recommend the larger room which has an adjacent (rather than ensuite) bath . The door to the bathroom is right outside the bedroom door in a small alcove. The bath itself might be the nicest I've ever seen: large, clean, modern, with a stunning view of the Remarkables.”
